so what is new in the whole "real world"?...wow, to some people they may be thinking i'm refrring to the mtv show...and alas, as much as i am a fan, i cannot be writing an entire blog about them...isn't there already one to do that anyways?...but i digress.
my first entry into real world was last friday, i had jury duty, after 2 days with my wonderful boyf in waco and turning in my finished [43] page screenplay!! i am READY to say i am about to be a baylor graduate. jury duty pretty much sucked and wasted 20 mins out of my day, not that i wanted to be chosen, but there ended up being no case..eh. anyways, i ended up seeing bundy for her birthday and we ate at the cheesecake factory, [i LOVE it there! i don't think i've gotten the same thing twice..except for the cheesecake flavor i love so much], the we went to see Closer, which i found to be ultra-depressing, but i found the actors to do awesome jobs...just so raunchy and real i guess...but whatever, not a purchase i will be making. but hooray to the actors.
that saturday i took off to san antonio for some good mexican food, saw my cousin at patty's taco house, YUM! (the food, not my cousin) and then spent the day with my cousin lisa. didn't do a lot, just watched tv, then headed to chili's to enjoy a margarita and some appetizers and talk. it was good, then back home to watch SNL feat. colin farrell...and that's all i have to say about that...
yesterday i went to spend some time with my dad and i got the 2nd of my christmas present, my 1st was a gorgeous black sweater given to me by andy :), but lovely texas weather has not allowed me to wear it...my 2nd gift was an....IPOD! yes, i am finally the owner of the 20GB ipod that i have wanted for the past YEAR!! and i'm about to play with it! yesss...i am very excited!!
after that, i spent about 5 1/2 hours with my mom in maybe...4 stores...*sigh*..what a shopping expedition and what did i get? some food for my party(s?)...whatever...it was fun.
so my job search is going slowly..i mean i've sent stuff out, but i really need to get on the ball. i'm going skiing towards the middle of january (with jenni! + fam) so i don't want a job i have to take vacation for! but i want a JOB!!!! and SOON! apparently i have some furniture coming my way, and a car too, which are all major incentives, not to mention MOVING OUT!
