hey hey,
so yesterday was sort of a weird day...i didn't feel like i was in a very good mood all day...i don't know if it's because i dont' feel like i'm getting things done or i just feel swamped or what...but then i remembered...when i woke up yesterday, i had no hot water, which means, my pilot light was out. again. i hate it. btw, i forgot to mention that ce and her sister made me breakfast yesterday, it was so sweet. heart. i need a live - in cook. best idea, ever.
during lunch i had to return something at express, and i also had to use all my coupons...well just one, so i spent my lunch hour shopping...i only spent $50 and i got 4 shirts and 3 pieces of jewelry...i thought it was a steal, esp for express! then i went to grab lunch at subway and back to work...i was thinking of going to my parents house but wheni called to see if they could meet me for dinner, no one answered their phone, so i went to target and old navy and ran errands and then just went home..i had a lot to do...
when i got home, i checked the hot water, still not there...so i gathered up the courage (after i ate, of course) to try to light it myself, after reading the instructions and reading online and telling a few people i would be attempting to do this, i went up to the attic to try to re-light the stupid thing...it seemed easy enough...but when i tried to light it, nothing happened, which made me mad b/c i thought CRAP something is wrong with it, like seriously...so i came back down and read more things and it turns out i was trying to light the wrong thing...oh well, i'm a girl and i've never done it before...so, when i tried again, it worked! yay! no problem! so exciting! now i have hot water, haha. but THEN i decided i would plug in my CO2 detector and it went off...now normally i dont' care about it because it's stupid and always goes off, and i'm not being killed silently...obviously...but since i had just relit the pilot, i thought i should call the fire dept...so they came down, sirens and all, and 35 mins later told me, my house was clear...yay. i hate CO2 detectors, they suck...we decided it was faulty and that was it. anyways, then i just cleaned up my room, packed and went to sleep...
so don't to bring the blog down or anything, but i just realized that it's been 3 years today that my wela passed away...i can't believe it's been so long...in one way it seems really long and others, so short...whatever the case, i miss her...awww...
today isn't going by super fast...of course not...and i forgot to check in online last night, so i got stuck with the B boarding pass, boo...this time i'm standing at the front of the line, i don't care, stupid people. i didn't eat breakfast, so i'm starving...and i'm just trying to get things done quickly before i leave at 4...i also have a webex at 1, boo. but oh well, it was my idea to do it.
i am SOOO excited to see chris! yay!
