so today was alright, it went by pretty quick, i designed a web page template and my boss liked it better than the rest of them, so she sent it to our big boss to approve, that was pretty exciting, also, one of the ladies down the hall is taking some of us to lunch tomorrow for admin. prof. day which was last week, she said it would be a good time for me to get to talk to people in not such a stressful environment...i should have told her i'm just quiet and not stressed out...but whatever, free lunch. i don't know where we're going, but that's ok...hmm, i got home and of course, ate and watched...american idol...here is what i thought of the evening..
anthony: 1st song was not good, and i wasn't too impressed with the 2nd, but it was better than the first
scott: i thought he actually sang the 1st song ok, and remembered why i had liked him in the past, and the 2nd song i just didn't like so oh well and i appreciated simon bursting his bubble after he was like "well i gotta show simon, blah blah" i'm like hey stupid, if you sang like you did the 1st song this ENTIRE time we wouldn't hate you as much, geez
vonzell: like randy said, i'd never heard that song, but she made it cool (the 1st one) and the 2nd one sounded awfully familiar...could she really not have picked a different song than the "american idol" song? come on (she did it well though)
bo: i think this boy is hot, i really dont' like long hair and extreme scruff on boys, i really really don't, but he just has this voice...it's not even dreamy, it's just hot, plus he's got that, "i dont' really give a crap" attitude going for him..anyways, he kicked butt on stand by me, and when he sang the los lonely boys song i was like crap, b/c they have OVERPLAYED that bad boy...but it was like i was hearing it for the first time
carrie: i think she did a really good job on both songs (as always) she was more fun on the 1st, but whatever
so...in a perfect world, the bottom 3 would include anthony, scott and i guess vonzell, i like her, but i guess she'll be in the bottom..i hate this point b/c really i only don't like 2 of them, but whatever...despite that, i voted for EVERYONE except scott b/c ...well, i just had to. also, there is all this crap about how bo did all these drugs, blah blah...ok, well if i had to choose b/w scott and bo, i would pick bo as the "american idol" b/c 1. i can't stand domestic violence, i think it is unnecessary and cowardly and i lost an aunt b/c of it 2. i can't stand scott 3. i would choose drugs over violence b/c everyone knows most rock stars, even if they don't now, probably have dabbled in drugs before and nobody hated jimi hendrix or the doors or nirvana...anyways, he prob. has more going for him, esp. since he did that rehab stuff or whatever...that's just my 2 cents on that, disagree if you want. (note: i am not promoting drugs, i am just choosing my appropriate candidate..plus, i'm biased)
anyways, so i forgot i'm getting my haircut tomorrow, and i don't know what i want, so i need to search through my magazines and find something! ...anything else? no...
