"take on me, take me on"--a-ha!

so last night, it took me way too long to pack, but the fact that i didn't have to sit on my suitcase to close it was very encouraging, i'm taking a small suitcase (the kind that fits in the overhead) and a backpack for random crap. i'm really excited about my mini-vacay this weekend!! and i was thinking this morning how much i really love flying. i have been on countless planes since before i was 2 years old. i flew by myself for the first time when i was 14 and i remember thinking, this is SO awesome, i can totally do this. i have no fear about planes, check-in, x-ray machines, luggage, etc. i've flown several times now by myself and i really love it. i love flying solo, but i also love flying with just one other person or a large group. flying by myself just lets me sit back, sleep or read and not worry about anything. when i'm flying with just one other person i like it to be someone i can hold a conversation with, i really can't wait to go on a flight with boyfriend b/c we would have so much fun! and flying with a group is just fun, when we would go to Vegas for NAB, that was such a blast b/c you pretty much own the plane, hehehe. anyways, that's my rant on flying, i'm excited!
i talked to my cousin last night and she said that when i get in, we're going to get some food and then head out to west hollywood, which is suppoesd to be pretty cool, i have my camera ready, she said it's possible to see celebrities! yay! i'm excited to be with the fam, who are like my big brother and sisters. my ipod's all charged, i'm listening to yahoo! radio so that i don't waste any battery.
so this morning, i forgot my lunch :( my mom made this really good calzone thing last night and i was taking the last of it, but i forgot it!! boo! and i don't have a car b/c my mom dropped me off, so i can't get lunch. i was hoping for bagels at breakfast this morning, but it was kolaches...and not the good kind. my breakfast day is next friday and i WILL be bringing bagels! anyways, i have saltines, fig newtons and yogurt...but i'm leaving here around 230 for the airport, so i shouldn't starve. today is pay day!! perfect timing!(esp. after i just paid off my monster of a credit card bill!) my mom is putting in our final offer today for my house !!! eeee! please, please, please cross your fingers for this! i REALLY want it! i've already starting thinking about furniture, and i will just be crushed if i don't get it (i know i set myself up for this one, but i couldn't help it)
ok so i leave austin at 415, get into to LA at 745, and will probably be able to update from there, so no worries!! (i know you were all worried)
