well yesterday was an interesting day to say the least. despite many phone calls, i tried to get past the anger and have an ok day. i met paul for lunch at this indian buffet place down the way from me, it was fine, i was not impressed this time though with the food though, boo. oh well. then i came back to work, we just got a new guy from new orleans (well he's not new to the company, just "new" to our office) and had this "meet & greet" with cookies the size of my head and listened to his stories about new orleans, it made me so sad and thankful all at the same time. this is just so crazy.
after work, i went to get gas and wash my car, well a very quick rinse, it was just gross. came home, watched the OC, ate some dinner, then went to meet russell for coffee at the spiderhouse. i'd only been there once before, it's really interesting, not only do they have coffee, but food, beer, wine, some 5 day old cupcakes, i mean they've got it all. whatever. it was good to hang out and catch up, i haven't talked to him in what seems like years (probably b/c it has been). also got to take a spin in his new car, sweet. what boy wouldn't want red leather interior? lol.
bundy called me on the way home, so we talked for a bit, then came home, talked to judy online some and then fell asleep, HARD. (so much for coffee keeping me awake) i slept so hard last night, i didn't want to wake up, it was a great sleep. awesome. so today is friday, aka pay day! i feel very ...well i just sat here for 5 minutes to think of the word that i mean, and i can't. so anyways, i am just glad i get paid today b/c it gives me reason to SPEND it all shopping on things for my house. awesome. tomorrow morning i have to get my mailbox key and move some stuff over to mi casa. maybe go look at some dogs on sunday *heart*. calm weekend ahead, i see.
