i FUCKIN' HATE BEST BUY!
we all remember the washer/dryer debacale, how my laundry room is freakishly small and the w/d i bought from there pretty much would have locked me out of my garage for the next 10 years or whatever? but the point is they WERE DELIVERED to my house to prove this point, then put back on the truck. right? RIGHT!? when i bought them, i received a rebate for the delivery cost to be free, perfect. that's $50 i didn't have to pay. so i sent it in. today i got a letter in the mail that said:
"We are in receipt of your correspondence and unfortunately we are unable to honor your rebate request as your purcahse was returned to the store and no qualifying replacement purchase was made.
If you believe that you have received this letter in error or have any further questions, please contact our Rebate Center..."
well hell yes i believe i received it in error! they fuckin' brought them to my house, that means tehy were ONCE delivered, right? so i call them and this sweet girl gets on and "looks into it" and tells me that no, there's nothing she can do because i returned them and didn't buy anything else. so lucky for her i had all this wine earlier so i was calm, but WHAT THE FUCK?! now i'm not! i didn't want to yell at her, but i sure wanted to yell at someone. i guess i'm going to call again tomorrow and point out that i DID keep the $100 gift cert that was SUPPOSED to be free, and wasn't. i have no freakin' back bone when it comes to yelling at people i don't know.
the only good thing about this evening is i got to drink free wine. and my old boss provided me with 5 bottles of wine and 3 mini kegs of beer for the par-tay. oh and some food, but i'm not really interested in that...we'll see.

and now i have to clean my house. fuck.
