here is a short synopsis of my weekend, on friday night, my mom and i drove to SA to see my cousins. we met rose and thad at the hotel and then went to get some late night snacks at jim's...who goes to jim's anymore? really. but it was good to have the talk time. we went back and went to bed, soon after.
on sat. thad dropped rose off at the airport (she is in San diego for a seminar) and then him, my mom and i went to breakfast/lunch at patty's...yummmm. fav. mexican food ever! after that, we went to get our tarot cards read, lol. how INTERESTING. whatevs. then to the starving artists fair. it just has a bunch of art everywhere in little booths. i think i got my first sun of the year but it was sooo hot. after we took thad back to his car, we met my aunt yolanda and sandra for a quick snack at rosarios. also great food! then my mom and i drove back to austin. i was going out with shawna and colleen and didn't have much time. we got back at 8.20 and i had to shower, get a new shirt and drive down south. so i showered at my parents, then went to target and within 15 mins had a new outfit plus water and some juice. i heart target, like no doubt.
drove to sahwna's, where i finished getting ready and pre-drank, then we headed out. it was a fun night, [i saw allegra and amanda from high school, fun times] needless to say i'm not sure why i was so ridiculous, as in, but i didn't do anything stupid, except for pass out in whataburger and get sick outside. boo. anyways, i'm posting some pictures, but i'm pretty sure i didn't put any makeup on before i left shawna's, even though i KNOW i did, so don't judge me (or us)
i spent the night at shawnas and woke up feeling like a champ...well not really. anyways, then i went home, showered, took a nap, got ready and met my mom to go this wedding. it was at vintage villas. let me tell you, it's gorgeous, it overlooks the lake, but it was at 5 and they were running late and it's almost summer, so we're all melting outside and it was lovely. boo. plus they're already married and so to me, this wasn't as exciting. but whatever, the food was good. anyways, i hate going to weddings where i don't know people or THE people getting married. the one on friday will be WAY too much fun :) can't wait!
yesterday i took it easy, i went to target after work and that's really it. just chilled out. anyways, today is tuesday = american idol and i think my mom is coming over to have a watching party, b/c she's cute like that. i'm taking the entire day friday off instead of just a half day for sure, and then next week is easter and we get friday off. 2 4-day weeks in a row? AWESOME
