after work last night i went shopping. my mom said that for my year review she's going to buy me some new clothes so i went to go check some stuff out. didn't really see much, but i did buy a pair of really cute shoes from aldo. my other black pumps are pretty much done with, and i saw a really cute pair similar to them but they're sort of a silver/pewter color. hott. plus i hear aldo is supposed to have good shoes? well, we'll see. i bought them kind of on impulse, whatever.
i came home and made some pesto tortellini, yum! and watched the gauntlet II, i hate that they didn't show us who left last night. and i was hoping they screwed up on their editing and we'd catch a glimpse in the preview of who left, but they weren't as careless as they usually are, ya know like last week showing us that the veterans lost and throughout the entire 30 mins, the commercials for something that i always fast forward through, showed timmy and derrick int he gauntlet...damn.
tonight is american idol, i'm excited (as always), it's 50s night, so that should be ANOTHER interesting evening, i'm sure simon won't be impressed, again. i hear that they are apparently going to be slowly dyeing taylor hicks' hair away from gray...except that that's his "thing" and it won't be the same if it's not...i mean sure i'll still like him and his voice, but he's going to look weird with dark hair i think...whatevs.
i was really frustrated in general yesterday, i don't know why. just with people in general i guess. thanks to all those who let me vent. blah, i am better now. it's a beautiful day, i did a GREAT pilates work out last night, i'm wearing "new" pants (well my cousin gave them to me,, thanks boo!) and my new shoes and i look cute and we're having a big office meeting with food today at lunch, so yay!
