have you had your latin kiss today?

kiss me, i'm irish....maybe

i feel like last night, started what will be a very exciting weekend, despite the rain that seems to be hovering over the city...we shall see...tonight's rain chance went from liek 50 to 30% so that's good! good luck to us!

last night i met up with the hellrazrs for some happy hour fun! i drove them in my new ride...we had some trouble finding the seatbelt for the middle person in the backseat, and so whoever sat there automatically became the person in the most danger...? really? whatever (fyi, hellrazrs, sharla and i looked for it after i dropped y'all off with no luck, but right when she left, i saw it. it's on the ceiling? weird.) anyways, we went to curra's, where if i hadn't driven would have gotten their special! a bucket of 4 beers and 4 shots! holla! for $25...anyway, our waiter was really cute, and he was only 20, bless his heart. awww...anyways, as usual, the drinks and food were great!
after that, they wanted to go to amy's but we all know how i am about ice cream, and although sometimes i'm up for a milkshake, i wasn't last night, so i dropped them off and went to my parents.

my mom was in SA yesterday and bought me this really cute black purse, which i need b/c i've been with my kate spade for like over a year, if not 2 and it's just getting ugly. so i have a cute gucci one now, heart! (you must think i'm rolling in dough, ha. ha. you are SOOO wrong.) so i went to pick that up, and say hi to my 'rents and remind them to watch crash, because i want to get my next movie from netflix. boo.

anyways, this morning, i gasped at the gas prices and filled up my empty gas tank for the first time...$30?! i blinked, then calmed down. it was my choice for the suv, so i have to deal with it. plus my insurance is going down and my payments are less than i thought, so it will all work out.
as i was driving down 183, where i usually have to go through a bunch of stop lights...the construction workers got my happy props today! they have extended 183 closer(further?), as in, i dont' have to drive as far to get on it anymore. i am SOO happy, it saves a good 2-3 minutes not having to wait at a stoplight!! yay!...for everyone who has to drive through construction, you know that any inkling of progress is cause for celebration!! of course i know that the 183/SH 45/620/toll road/"we didn't think austin would grow this much and built a crappy highway system and are paying for it now" thing, won't be done for many years to come, but by that time i hope to be closer to the city. say like 07/08. ...ok that's another issue.

so this morning has been so fun! i'm wearing a green shirt (not the one i'm wearing tonight) and somoene brought some great things for breakfast, like PINEAPPLE! (yesss!) and stuff like that, and our admin asst bought these cute little "kiss me i'm irish" sticky lights, you put on your shirt. so i'm very green today.

so it looks like it's about to storm, and i left my umbrella in the car, awesome. hmmm, what should i eat for lunch today...decisions, decisions...and it's only 10...hehe

tonight, i'm meeting up at shawnas for some pre-party-ness and then going downtown which will be absolutely craaazy, but i'm ready. saturday is ham day/fest, which should be exciting too! yay weekends!

happy st. patty's day!!! :)
