have you had your latin kiss today?

"i don't care what they say about us anyways, i don't care 'bout that"--weezer

another less than exciting day and night for miss rena over here. i was having a hard time trying to figure out what to eat since i'm not doing fast food, but i ended up getting a baked potato and salad from bill millers with tea, so i think that was fine. anyways, on the way home i called my aunt julie, i don't know if i mentioned but last week she had fallen on the jetties over in corpus visiting my cousin and broke her knee (ow!), anyway, she is having surgery today so i called her, etc.

i went to get some groceries so i could get some food to cook stuff and bring lunches, etc. do you know they sell einstein bros. bagels at target? (yum!)

so i went home and made some cream of broccoli soup, i mean it was good, it was more like green potato soup, but i probaby won't make it again. whatever. of course during my dinner i watched american idol...i just realized i didn't vote, but i'm pretty sure kinnik sky and melissa mcghee will be going home on thursday, so whatever. i did a realtime am. idol blog on myspace if you are so interested on my thoughts. i will be pretty happy with the top 6 girls if that's what happens. so that's: kellie pickler, lisa tucker, paris bennett, mandisa, ayla brown and kat mcphee (oh i'm sorry mcFEVER!? who's idea was that? stupid) anyways, guys tonight and i of course LOVE me some am idol boys so yay!

i also watched the real world, as always, entertaining, i felt like i had the exact same experience with the gay bar when they went out b/c that's what i did this weekend, except no one i was with was cranky like they were, i just want to slap svetlana and tell her to shut the eff up, she's a big tantrum thrower and it's sooo not cute. of course watching the real world led into watching 8th and ocean and i think the show is absolutely ridiculous. i don't care to watch a bunch of models try to make it in their cute beach apartment, laying in the sun all day when they're not being pretty....but you know what? i'm intrigued, and therefore, i have been sucked in...boo...i suck.

i got my first netflix movies in the mail yesterday: million dollar baby and crash... i had to fix my "queue" because apparently i was asking for a bunch of dramas, so it would be depressing movie after depressing movie, so i threw a little variety in there

so i want to clarify about my summer comment earlier, i am meaning in temperature, a few days ago it was GORGEOUS and in the 70s and i loved it, and i would love it if we could see the sun again. it being this warm in march, with the sun, just means that i can get brown that much earlier in the year and that my friends, is AWESOME. ;)

anyways it's weds, which means gym, dinner, am idol, pilates, etc.
peace out.
