hey hey,
so like the true indian i am, i went to have indian food with some work friends yesterday, it was really good! yum! after work, i met my mom at johnny carino's for an early birthday dinner. she gave me a card from her and my dad with a check in it! it's not a lot, but it is helpful and i'm finally going to be able to buy my speakers for my ipod with that money plus all the best buy gift cards i got for my birthday! yay! :) so we had a nice little dinner, then i went to baby gap to get my boss a little something for her baby (her baby shower is today) and then we went to target. i bought a johnny cash cd and some other things.
after that, i went home and watched american idol, thank goodness for dvr (i waited to vote til after it was over, i don't know why b/c i was watching it AFTER 9pm so i could have just been voting during the time...whatever) i didn't think the guys did as well as some of the girls, boo, but that's ok. i would be ok if patrick hall, bucky, bobby bennett and gideon went home tonight, i mean whatever. here are my top picks of last night:
top 5 guys (they are all the same from last week)
1. chris daughtry (i just LOVE this guy, i don't know why, i just do)
2. ace young (i mean, he's hot, what more can i say, plus he sang my FAVORITE george michael song EVER and i was like "hi, i love you"...and hellooooo, he has a BROTHER!? who knew? h.o.t.)
3. elliott yamin (i like his voice a lot)
4. taylor hicks (i'm sorry he looks like he's 50, but that boy LOVES HIS MUSIC! and i love watching him sing it! he's awesome)
5. ......david radford?? (and i feel dirty b/c he's like 17 and i would have his babies the day he turns 18..he is SEVEN years younger than me, that is so wrong, esp. since he wasn't all that great last night)
so...anyway, then i started packing, i packed once, then took stuff out, still i have 2 bags, 1 toiletry bag, an aero bed, a bag of alcohol and i'm like...where did all this stuff come from? boo. i can't pack, i'm going to be gone for 3 days! anyway, i'm excited b/c i'm leaving after work and i finally get to see my boss after 6 months today! :) yay! and her new baby!!
i'm sad b/c i feel like i missed a good time at dinner, paperwork and amy's last night, but i will be back next week! holla hellrazrs! (even though i don't like spelling it like that)
hollaaaa! NEW ORLEANS here i come!!! (even if it WILL be raining the whole time, i'm READY!)
