"i wasn't prepared for this"--eisley

so on the way to meet my mom for dinner, my "service engine soon" light went off, so we were no longer meeting for a car switch, but just for a light dinner and a small shopping trip. i bought this really cute strapless top, i can't decide where to wear it, this weekend or save it for mardi gras...hmmm..;) after that i just went home and watched me some american idol, thank GOODNESS its down to the top 24, and the voting begins. i was actually pretty happy with who the judges chose, there isn't anyone that is going to hurt my ears (aka, scott savol) this year, some aren't the BEST singers, but they're not horrible, so that'll be nice, while i was watching, i made notes of my favs (yes i'm a nerd) and amazingly i came up with 5 guys and 5 girls, haha, my own top 10. here is my list:

ok so now everyone knows i'm an american idol junkie. thank goodness for dvr. ;) after that, i started cleaning. i cleaned the bathrooms and windexed. i also hung up some pictures so my walls aren't so damn bare. i HATE hanging pictures, i'm really bad at it, but the first big picture i hung was straight! i was so proud!! :)

this morning my body woke me up at like 6.45, i didn't want to get up, but i wasn't incredibly sleepy...interesting. i thought to myself, wow, the sun is semi shining through the windows, beautiful...now let me sleep a little bit more.

tonight we're going to celebrate vincents bday with dinner and dessert and then i may swing by my 'rents house to say hey and then rush home to finish cleaning. my first guests come tomorrow :) soooo excited...oh and 6th street MAY be in the plans now for friday night, let me know if you are interested.
