yesterday was such a monday, it wasn't funny. early in the day, my eyes started to hurt really bad (i accounted this to wearing them from 8am saturday to 10pm sunday night), and i started to get a really bad sinus headache that lasted from about 12 -5pm. i left work and went to meet my mom to get my car. mechanics are ridiculous, the first place i went to wanted to charge me $700 alone for the brakes+other crap to equal $1500, my dad's mechanic? fixed the brakes, ANOTHER oil change, fixed a belt, fluids, etc, for $600. anyone need a good mechanic? let me know ;) i felt really crappy right about this time, but my mom wanted to go to dinner and i thought i should probably eat something, so we went to chili's and i just had some soup and salad, i ordered chips and salsa on a whim and now i have a bunch for snacking on, yay!
i went home, and i went to sleep. at 7pm, yes. but i felt like crap and i was cold and i might have even had a fever? i dont' know. i woke up around 9.45, got on the comp and watched the bachelor.
here are my thoughts on the bachelor....first off, boo susan. all of a sudden it's like she's acting, like before they met her parents, she's being weird and soap-opera like in the park, playing it for the camera, and then her PARENTS?! shouldn't it say something when her parents are concerned about her not being ready for a relationship and thinking she's just on the show to further her acting career? (i know, i was a susan fan up until last night). next, we have moana (who i already hated anyway), whose family is SUPER SCARY, do you think the bachelor realizes that when you marry someone you marry their family as well and they hate him? hmmm...how about sarah from tennessee? living down the street from him and never wanting to leave nashville to go to the mountains, i feel like even though she honestly likes him, she would be one of those girls who puts her foot down on EVERYTHING. and then there's canadian sarah, the baby of the group, whose family was amazing! they loved him, etc, i don't care if she's 23, she was super mature, i don't think i would have handled a 33 year old that well. so, when the rose ceremony comes up and he kicks canadian sarah off?! WTF? (i owe her non rose to the fact that she started talking about the house and acting a tad self doubtful) all the others won't work out for several reasons. he's a really nice, sincere guy, but he's an idiot, which just goes to show you, even smart guys are stupid, and fall for the actors, the fake and the girls that just aren't right for them. boys suck. where the hell is jehan when you need her? whatever. i'm not watching the show anymore except for the reunion. awesome.
i haven't watched grey's anatomy yet, because by the time the bachelor was over, i called kelli to bitch about it and then i went back to sleep. luckily i have no headache today and i took my meds before i came to work, so far i feel ok.
so my best news of the day? after the car fiasco, my mom got really pissed off at my whole car in general and said that they'd help me with a downpayment and so i am getting a NEW [used] CAR!!! i am SOOO excited, and now just have to decide b/w a jetta and a civic...those are really what i want, so yay!

i hope today is better than yesterday, i don't have any plans but i do need to go to the store and pay my credit card bill.
