this whole week has been incredibly busy at work, which is good, but it is just crazy! anyway, needless to say, happy hour was greatly necessary. i don't understand why it has to take me an hour to get downtown or anywhere for that matter FROM work, i mean, i am INSIDE the city limits...i choose never to take mopac because inevitably there is some kind of wreck all the time, so i choose lamar, this is fine and dandy til i get to about 24th street and then it's just stuck. if someone has a better route, then please let me know.
i think i had 2 too many margaritas, i hadn't really eaten anything yesterday and apparently the sushi and calamari i DID intake wasn't enough base to soak any alcohol, despite the fact that we left too early, i didn't have to drive to shawna's or to walmart, thanks guys :) we took a lot of pictures but i am not really supposed to post any so i guess i'll just have to wait until we get better lighting. we went to shawna's and i passed out/played with lucy lu for a little bit, then we went to walmart to get colleen a tv. awesome. i almost bought muppets take manhattan, but i didn't...whatever. after that, i went home, watching AI, boo austin, only 12 people? that makes me sad.
anyway, this morning on my morning show, they had one of the girls who auditioned on the phone, the one that did the christmas carols, and she started talking about how they really do the auditions, i should really know better about how they edit things, but seriously, i didn't think it would be as ridiculous as it was, but i think they started to give themselves away when they have everyone singing the same song and make a weird montage of them when you already know they sang/tried out...ok, i'm going too deep into this. i still love the show, whatever. hurry up and get to hollywood!
so does anyone else know who simply red is and/or listens to them? or does this make me 50 years old for loving them? whatever.
what exactly does "a la mode" mean? i mean, i know apple pie a la mode means, like, with ice cream? but i saw a sign for ironworks & landscaping a la mode, which doesn't make much sense to me...please clarify, anyone?
eh, i need to go water some plants and make some edits.
