this weekend was pretty good, i thought about keeping it low key b/c the next 2 weekends are prob going to kill me, but that didn't sound as fun.
friday night, i had dinner with shawna, colleen, my cousin michael and my mom at casa garcia's...sooo good, i absolutely love that place! anyways, good times. our waiter was sort of new, and he was really nervous, bless his heart. after that, shawna, colleen and i went back to shawna's and played with lucy and watched swingers. why is this described as an amazing movie? i wasn't all that impressed, whatev.
saturday started off slow, i got my hair trimmed, then got lunch at bush's, then went to my 'rents. my cousin and mom hadn't eaten, so my dad and i kept them company while they went to eat, then came back. my mom, cousin and i went to the mall for a little shopping. i ended up buying martini glasses for $3! and this weird dessert tray thing, awesome! then i started getting tired, and cranky, etc, so we left and i went home, ate some food, then got ready to meet shawna, colleen and sharla for our downtown outing. after much difficulty, we ended up at foundation. neat little bar, and our bartender was AWESOME, he made all our drinks, then gave us free shots, heart! my friend joe from houston met up with us and we had a good time. here are some pics. ANYWAYS, joe took us home and i was only going to sober up at shawna's but i woke up on her couch and it was like 8.30 am, oh well. we got breakfast from taco c and played with lucy lu, then i went home and crashed again, i woke up around 2 and met shawna, sharla and colleen at the mall so we could go see capote. i thought it was GREAT! i don't like philip seymour hoffman at all but i think he did a really good job with this. go see it! after that i went to my 'rents for dinner and to do my taxes...booooooooo taxes, i barely get anything back, even with my deductions. boo. whatev, my mom is double checking today and then i'll send them off. soo fun! ...
today has been very quiet, i like that, after the past 2 weeks of craziness, i'm sure it'll pick up soon, but right now, it's nice, got a meeting soon and so far this week, not too many plans, but my party is this weekend! HOLLAAAAAAAAAA!
