so the biggest news of my weekend (this is what i'll start off with!) is that i got a new car!!!!! it's a '06 honda cr-v, it's black and it's beautiful and sleek, and now i need a name...kitch has thrown in rico suave or natalia...i thought cars were girls, so rico suave doesn't seem to fit, anyways, here's a picture.

friday i didn't do too much. i met bundy at run-tex to look for running shoes, then we had a nice little dinner at pf changs, wayyyyy good! and then we went to do a little shopping, i didn't get anything, but that's ok. then i went home and packed and went over to my parents house.

i woke up bright and early the next morning so we could go to SA to visit the fam for a little bit and just "look" at cars. i had the mentality that i would not be buying a car this weekend. we were only going to the honda dealership because my uncle had referred us there and said he got a great deal on his CR-v and so we went to try it out. pretty much immediately they told us about this '06 they just got as a trade-in and the price was above perfect...i mean, it was pretty much a steal. so i drove it, fell in love with it, and next thing you know, 3 hours later i'm talking about financing!!!! soooo exciting! :) they even let me take it home with only the downpayment to hold it. anyways, i'm going back today to finish up the financing. once again, saturday night i was just a bum. (this is going to come in handy b/c i think i have a busy weekend planned...)

sunday i went to take the ol' saturn to get cleaned out b/c we're selling it and i had a talk with it to let it know we had some good times, but we both needed to move on...aww, my little college car. then i went to linen's 'n things and bought some little things for my house, then met shawna to eat lunch at thundercloud, then we took lucy to petsmart so i could buy her a toy and she got a new name tag, then i went to bed, bath and beyond to buy my kitchen curtains, and then home. i watched some golf with my dad, and played with my doglets, then left. i stopped by the store and finally used my gift card and bought an iced tea maker, yay! here comes summer! then of course, i watched grey's anatomy, made some good dinner, did some laundry. i also watched crash. wow, great movie! i am so glad it won its Oscar!! oh and btw, i love netflix. heart!

so i was watching this movie called the hustler on saturday night with my dad, helloooo young paul newman, what a hottie! i think i would put him on my top 5 for my top 5 guys who were hot in the 50s and 60s...le sigh.

ok i think that's it...today i'm leaving a little early and going to SA to finish my financing, etc. and probably also having dinner with my aunt. she had her knee surgery and my mom is being a good sister and keeps visiting her and helping her out.
