"what you don't have, you don't need it now"--U2
well first, i got a raise! on thursday! yay!
on thursday night, i just had dinner with my little mom and then proceeded to drive into hurricane style rain, the sky was a black hole and i couldn't see in front of me and then IT STARTED HAILING...on my new car :( boo. but i don't see any damage, so hopefully it's ok. thank goodness for a garage.
friday morning i got started late (duh), went to get a pedicure and then met my parents for lunch and to sign the papers for the title to the saturn. we sold it! yay! no more saturn, awww, bless it's heart. my mom asked me if i wanted to take a picture with it, i was like, um no thanks. so after that, i went to pick up my paycheck, then to the bank, then off to dallas. it took me a good 3 hours to get there. note to self: never move to dallas, traffic is HORRIBLE, plus y'all up there drive crazy. boo. i almost got into like 3 wrecks. first i met jen meg at chuy's for a margarita, very good...the drink and the conversation. heart jen meg :) after that, a fiasco ensued (short story) in which my "date" for the wedding was still working, therefore leaving me with NO PLACE to change my clothes and having to find the wedding location in friday traffic in dallas. boo. but i found it, then i thanked my lucky stars for having an suv and changed in my car...boo. i found mark hawkins and then colleen's sister, katie (my new bff, lol) found me and since we were early i did my makeup in the weird botanical gardens bathroom and then we sat in the windy dust storm for the wedding. it was small, but very beautiful. heart, they are so cute.
after that, we headed over to the reception at the aldophus hotel? it was a really nice hotel, and we enjoyed some hors'doervs (i can't spell) and open bar while we waited for them. since my date had officially become katie, instead of kitch, we decided she was sitting at my table (we were put at specific tables) with all the other couples, who really WERE couples. who's idea was this? the reception and food were GREAT. i got a little tipsy on the open bar, and it was so much fun to hang out with katie!

i also saw stephen gulley (well duh, he was in the wedding and singing too), aww heart gulley. he's such a great guy. 
and then OH LOOK! my date for the second part of the evening decided he would show up...kitch...you. are. ridiculous. lol.
so after we danced and sent the happy couple off, i followed kitch down to greenville so i could meet up with my friend greg at some place called zephurs. it was neat, dallas bars are fun...except paying $8 for parking..i think that's what i spent all my money on this weekend...parking. damn. after that, we went to some place called the beagle and danced/drank. v. fun. (sorry no more pictures :*( )
saturday was sooo lazy, stayed in bed til like 2, but it was great! unfortunately most of my dallas plans for saturday were falling through, so i just decided to come back to austin..i left dallas around 2.30, i stopped in waco to see if i could find some stuff for my car, but i wasn't really int he mood so i came back home. rested for awhile, then went to dinner with my parents, then to target. after that i went over to shawna's, where we predrank and then went downtown. i was in such a bad mood, i drank like 2 more drinks and had no signs of getting drunk at all. a fight started in lavaca which is really odd, and we met some rugby guys, who were nice, but i just wasn't interested, sorry, mix that in with being ridiculously tired and not drunk enough and i was pretty much a bitch. i told shawna later i was sorry and i didn't hate her or her new friends. just wasn't the time for me, i guess. i was so tired, and though not drunk, just decided to stay at shawna's. i left there around 10.30, came home, showered and went over to my parents.
today i played what i like to call "rich girl" in which i put on some tanning oil and fall asleep by the pool, yay! i have my first official tan line of the year! how exciting! then i watched some of the golf tourney with my dad and took a really long nap, my mom made a great dinner, i relaxed some and then came home. now it's almost 9 and i think i might watch a movie and go to bed. i have no idea why i'm so tired. geez, you'd think i hadn't slept for like years. but oh well. busy weekend i guess.
