so after work, i dragged myself (because work was tough) to casa chapala to see my mom since she was hanging out there. since they don't have their liquor license yet, the alcohol is free, and they kept serving us margaritas...holla! extra shots of patron! and then they gave us our dinner free (ok that doesn't happen for everyone so don't get too excited). so i had a fun time with mama sims and then shawna had told me her and vincent were going to be at amy's around 7 if i wanted to go (b/c chris: friend from saudi, see recap of weekend had texted me saying he was going to mozarts at 9 and did i want to go and amy's is in the general vicinity), so since it was 7 and i was still "in town" i decided to meet up with shawna & vincent. while we were there, i got my first taste of the photo booth, SO FUN! except i can't count quarters, but that's not really my fault, so our first picture is kind of messed up, as you can see i'm still putting in quarters
after that, i decided to go with them to paperwork, since it was only 8 and i was so close and i like paperwork, so why not? so that was fun! good times had by all, and then i drove over to mozarts to meet up with chris, ramzi, hope (once again read monday's recap) and met their friend's ali and gf, fargo. i only planned to stay for about an hour, but we didn't leave til 12. it was so much fun! reliving saudi days and laughing, made me realize how much i'd missed those guys and my time in saudi. i feel like sometimes i repress my saudi days because unless you lived there you don't really understand what it's like, so there's not really anyone to talk to about it. but i just started remembering all this stuff and memories started flooding back. heart saudi!
sooo i'm SOOO GLAD ITS FRIDAY! it's PAYDAY (which makes little difference in my world at the moment) and tonight we're doing happy hour (thank GOODNESS) and maybe going to see superman returns. and tomorrow i plan on doing NOTHING until i have to go downtown with ce for a bachelorette party for l*bo's friend amber. i hear everyone's gonna be downtown on saturday, holla! and on sunday, my mom wants to have a day for us, so maybe we'll go shopping and see a movie, maybe i can convince her to see the devil wears prada. chris also texted me he wants to maybe hang out this weekend, so maybeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i can squeeze that in, maybe sunday night or something. i could use a weekend to myself soon, i think i might go to the coast next weekend so that could be up there with relaxation.
