"i think i'll go home and mull this over"--the shins

this weekend was fun and sad, all at the same time. boo.
on friday i went to shawna's after work and i went to go see the break-up with her and vincent at the drafthouse. it was really funny. i highly recommend it...after that we went to sharla's and hung out with her, and i finally met heidi, aww. we're going to see the boy bands sing-a-long at the drafthouse on thurs, i am soo excited! lol.
on saturday, i started cleaning the house and setting different things up, getting ready for the coming weeks. the singletons (l*bo and shea) were coming in for a "party" for carosa, that gary had set up earlier, we had a suspicion it was an ENGAGEMENT party, but we wouldn't find out til later. so l*bo showed up and i whisked her out the door, we picked up bundy and on the way to the radisson (where we were meeting), bundy spilled the beans. gary was going to ask carosa to MARRY HIM! *AHHH* (insert girlie dramatic scream here) so we met up with shea and waited for a looong time, finally we got the cue. she said YES! so we met up with them and it was really fun! i am so happy for them!! :)
so after we hung out with them, we came back to my house and had a mini singletons slumber party and finally went to sleep, v. late.
on sunday, we slept in late, were lazy, bundy left early, shea left next, then l*bo and i frantically looked through my house for her clutch, which she ended up leaving in shea's car, boo. so then we rushed to kerbey lane to meet carosa & gary for lunch. i heart kerbey lane, and their queso. yummm...i had the turkey and avocado quesadillas, i dont' know why i never tried them before, they were awesome. after that, i went over to my parents house where i got some bad news, i don't know if i've mentioned before, but i have 2 dogs: cleo & caesar. caesar is the baby but he has a really bad hip and recently it's gotten so bad that he can barely walk, he has to drag himself around. well that's the jist, but my parents decided it would be best to put him to sleep. i am so sad, but i know it's for the best. but we've had him for 7 years and that's a good chunk of time and if you know me, you know i love all dogs, especially mine. he was the "friendly" dog, he loved people, he was a good dog all around, just the hip really go to him and i know he was in pain. i wish i had more pictures of him, but i don't :(
i stayed with my parents for awhile, my mom and i went to marshall's and target. i got a really cute dress for the rehearsal dinner and just another work dress, and a quilt, but i put it on my bed last night and it isn't as cute as it is on the picture, boo. after more QT with caesar and my parents, i went to see the break-up AGAIN with julie and joey (saudi peeps) and it was great...AGAIN. then i headed home and crashed.
i am so sad today, but i am trying to get over it...boo. :(
