"there's no where i'd rather be"--britney spears

wso i'm sure everyone is just sooo excited to hear about my weekend in the big okc. lol. this weekend brought new meaning to the phrase "it's not where you are, but who you're with"...i mean, was i even in oklahoma? i don't even know, lol.

so i left a little early from work on friday to go catch my plane, i was on time and everything so that was good, my flight from austin was a little delayed so that was no fun, but i got to where i needed to be, in okc with my chris ;) around 8.40pm, almost an hour behind schedule. i was so happy to see him! yay! we got my luggage and i was starving! somehow between the flight and dinner, i managed to get a headache, boo. anyways, we met his sister at this little italian restaurant called flips, which was good. then we dropped off my stuff at their apartment and his sister took us to this weird little place that some of his friends were going to meet us at. wow. we left within the first 15 mins and went downtown with his friends to some place called citywalk. it was one of those 5 different music floors type place. i started to not feel very well here, but i wanted to be excited and i was happy to just BE with him, so we hung out and after the 2nd drink, called up his sister to come pick us up....while we waited it started raining, boo, so we find some shelter until she came. i was pretty much a lost cause then but i felt better when we got to the apartment.

saturday, we slept in a lot, "well i'm not the one who slept til 3!" (boo.) watched some football, got ready and then drove down to norman for the OU game. they were playing middle tennessee. it was cool to see the campus where my dad went to school and how crazy OU fans are. not to mention, to be rooting for the team who's actually winning (aww, baylor bears, how you disappoint me. boo.) "it's our turn again!" and we had like the cutest couple in front of us, with matching sooner tennis shoes and binoculors. they. were. awesome. i've never seen so much red in my life, i figure it's similar to a texas game with so much orange you can't stand it. oh well, it was fun though.

heart.

so after the game, the 30 min drive, took us a good 2 hours. i told chris it was good that i liked him so much to be stuck in a car with him that long ;) . we got home and decided to call his sister to come bring us beer and ordered some pizza. best. dinner. ever. at midnight, haha. we started watching phantom of the opera, but i fell asleep, although it was v. similar to the broadway production, so i liked that, i'll have to finish it soon.

slept in on sunday again, just not as late, got ready, and packed my stuff and then we went to go see the oklahoma city memorial, which was a little depressing, then drove to bricktown to walk around and eat, we had mexican food, it wasn't too bad actually, i was expecting worse. haha. walked around some more and then just started driving. we ran into this construction derby, like a soap box derby and chris decided it would be fun to watch it. haha, we got there for the end of the last race and watched the trophy ceremony. who DOES this stuff? it was ridiculous, i thought it was funny we actually stopped and got out, you know these people are like who the hell are these people? (it wasn't that big of a crowd) yeah, we're spontaneous like that, lol. then we just drove around exploring until it was time for the airport (boo!) and he walked me to the security and waited with me til the last possible second, which was very sweet (or i thought so at least), then i got stopped at security and they searched my purse when i made EVERY effort to not put anything in there that would get confiscated, had to explain to the security man that my lipstick was actually a SOLID, NOT a GEL, and luckily my gate was directly across from security, i think i sat on the plane for maybe a minute before it took off. and then i got sad. awww. ;)

when i got to dallas, there was a 7.40 flight (mine was at 8.25) and i tried to take the earlier one before remembering i had checked a bag, so i waited, turns out my bag were on the 7.40 flight, BOO! (it was waiting for me not on the baggage thingy, but on the floor, sucks.) whatever. i got home at like 10.30 and talked to ce for a bit, etc.

so now i miss him a lot, it's midterms time, so i probably won't see him til the 3rd weekend in october, which sucks. boo. but i'll manage. anywayssss, that was my weekend.

back to work, back to normal life, back to dates with my dvr...and the gym ;) haha.

peace.
