"take that look from off your face"--oasis
i'm wet and cold.
last night, last minute, i got a text from sharla saying they decided not to go to the concert they originally were going to and go to dinner instead, so i argued with myself a little bit and then decided i would go. so i went out for the real birthday dinner with shawna, sharla, colleen, vincent and cynthia at trudy's. v. fun. then i just went home, talked online and on the phone a little bit and thought about packing, but went to sleep instead. oops.
it's monsooning here, i woke up to a very dark room, which is odd b/c when i wake up it's usually somewhat light outside and it's not daylight savings time yet, also, it was really windy and sounded scary outside, i couldn't even sleep through my snooze button, boo. so my mom called me and said "it was raining" and "i should leave early" and i'm like, i'm not leaving at all. it's too scary (it took her over an hour to get home from work) so i called my boss, and told her the deal and she said to take my time. so i left around 9-ish i guess, and it took me almost an hour to get here, wheeeeee. and i had to trek through like a big river puddle and now my feet are wet and cold :(
so tonight i'm going to do some last minute shopping for some last minute layering things (ok, like one shirt) i'm basically in new york for 2 whole days. anyways, that's all. plus it's tuesday, you know what that means!! haha. running. fun.
