greens and blues
ok, so i'm back from skiing, i was in keystone, with the fam..yes, all 14 of us, and jenni too :) so cram 15 people in a 2 bedroom condo, 2 minutes from the ski lift and a hot tub, and you've got a good time. lol. i was very excited b/c i feel as though i have officially graduated from greens to blues, without one lesson...ok, but i still fell twice...and both out of stupid trips or turns...nothing quite like sliding down a mountain on your back head first..nope, nothing.
so...in order to keep this entry short about the past week...here are some highlights:
*running around kinko's chasing my niece, rylie, for an hour with jenni
*jenni and i jammin' on our ipods as we skiied the slopes
*jenni and mine's awesome attempts at skiing blue slopes and not falling on any of them!
*me actually getting some air taking some ski jumps
*skiing down the slopes for hours with 10 of my family members
*listening to weird ski guys' pick up lines..."hey, i found a schrunchie?...do you want it?" [no not really bud, but thanks]
*actually getting a quiet tv time for watching THE OC
*watching my 4 and 6 year old nephews ski down the slopes faster than me
*seeing snow and actually having COLD weather in january...
*listening to my 4 year old nephew, ashton, sing in a country croon "God bless the-merica"
*hearing sister complain that the hot tub at 98 degrees was just not hot enough
well, it sounded cooler when i was thinking about all the cool things that happenend, but whatever...it was fun and now..back to reality...and job hunting...bleh
