hey hey, what a wonderfully un-productive day..i'm beginning to feel liek i need more purpose in my life, because going to the mall just doesn't do it for me...lol. anywyas, today, i started off just going to the post office, the mall and old navy and on the way i realized i hadn't renewed my driver's license yet, so i figured i was looking cute enough for the picture to last another 5-7 years and so i went to do that first, i of course, with 20 other people, i was there for about 30 minutes, which i guess isn't bad, but it was a TUESDAY afternoon! why dont' people have jobs?! (i know, i know, i dont have one quite yet either) anyways, while i was there, i noticed something, even when a door says "push" most people try to pull it anyways, then if it is a double door, they try the OTHER door to see if THAT one pulls (it usually doesn't), then it seems they either have a lightbulb go off in their head or they look at the blatant sign that says "PUSH", whatever the case, i'd say about 80% of people who walked out of there, pulled instead of pushed...very interesting...i think it's b/c most doors in houses are "pull" to get out of them, like when you open your front door and go outside, and you push them to get IN ...but in public places, this has gone out the window, to go in, you tend to pull and out, push...well that's what it seems like anyways. whatever, i ranted for long enough...
anyways, after i paid my $24 and smiled very fakely and dealt with the rude lady at the desk, i went on my way...i got some really cute earrings and a bracelet at ny & co for $6 and then bought some stuff i need to return now, and found my suit nicely on sale for 30%...sweet, price adjustment, and it's like a $10 adjustment...definately worth it. anyways, then off to old navy, bought some tank tops and then back home...
i did some tax stuff for my mom and then met bundy for dinner at le madeleine, we got it to go and settled in for american idol, why oh WHY are the girls not that great?! tonight, i gave nadia props b/c of her otis redding song, i LOVE that song and she definately did it right, and i still like mikalah but she didn't do well either, and of course jessica sierra,..i didn't vote tonight though b/c there are so many girls i dont' care about, so whatever..i like carrie underwood too but she's too country for american idol i think..anyways, whatever. i'm back home and doing laundry and reading up on the company for my interview tomorrow..
