so weekend update...friday i came home, ate dinner and then my mom and uncle and i went to san antonio. we got there just to sleep basically, then saturday morning, armed with my aunt and cousin and breakfast tacos from patty's! we were off to corpus. we got down there and were looking at some places for my cousin, rose to live at and then i was like "hey mom, where are we staying?" she says, "i don't know..." this is like my mom's sense of adventure, she likes this being on a WHIM...whatever. we found a place to stay, but it only had a smoking room..boo. so we went there, changed and then headed out to the beach. we unloaded the car and walked to the beach and i'm like hey it's raining..AWESOME, it started pretty slow, but then it was a steady stream of rain...niice. then my aunt julie and ed came to the beach and of course ed was a total jack-hole, but whatever. Anyways, we stayed out there and waited out the rain, then back to the hotel and to the pool. then started to get ready for the texas treasure casino boat. long story short, yes, you are on a cruise ship for 5 hours with only slot machines and alcohol and yes i lost $50. whatever.
sunday we woke up, went to the pool, and then got ready to come back home. we stopped at sea island (yum! i hate that they closed the one down here) to eat and then dropped off my aunt and cousin, then off to austin. once here, i went over to see bundy's new apartment, which is SUPER cute!! yay bundy, then we went off to see my house! i almost couldn't get the door open (yes i'm retarded) anyways, i gave her the tour and i was going to take pictures but it was kind of dark so i'll just wait until i can go during the day. then we stopped off at sonic, where we both had unfortunate experiences, we ordered her a chocolate malt (came out vanilla) and i ordered what i thought to be a normal size breakfast burrito (sonic sized) boo and full of onions, jalapenos and tomatoes) ick. then came home, and went to sleep, i was so tired. i felt like i was burned, but i wasn't...weird.
also last night, on my way to bundys , my OTHER knee started hurting, like sharp pains, etc. i don't now whats wrong with it, but i'm about to start using the medicine we give our dog for his hip (glycosamine?) to help with joints...whatever. it's a human vitamin, it can't hurt. i have a training session today that i may cancel b/c of it...we'll see, i'm icing it right now, so i hope it helps...i don't think it's worth taking an x-ray unless i can't walk or it's painful 24/7, right now it just hurts if i move funny.
it felt like i was gone for a really long time, which is good and bad b/c it kept me off the fact i didn't get to talk to boyfriend all weekend b/c he was frolicking up in the mountains in colorado...i miss him a lot. but i get to see him this weekend...anyone have a place for me to "stay" in waco?!!? let me know ;)
