well not much to say..i felt pretty retarded today b/c our head of latin america is coming up here and we're supposed to have this lunch thing, and i thought it was today, turns out it is tomorrow...(at least it wasn't yesterday) anyways, i thought i was dumb until i re-read the email which in the subject line DOES say friday, august 5th, but the EMAIL says thursday, august 4th...see? i'm only half dumb. so i had panda express for lunch? why...it's not really good...not again.
so after i posted yesterday i sent in an adoption application for shasta! her foster mom said we could set up a meeting next week if i was still interested, so i hope that happens! she is way cute.
today i tried to get a homeowner's insurance quote, it's really weird and they ask you all these random questions, like "how far away is the nearest fire hydrant?" or "do you own a trampoline, skateboarding ramp or some other sort of ramp?" or "do you have a sprinkler system?" (i said yes, i do, then she asked what rooms they were in...who puts them in INSIDE?! unless you're an office building or school? wtf? i said, no, i had an outdoor sprinkler system...whatever) after ALL that, then i get the quote..it's not amazing either AND i have my auto insurance with them, you'd think that it would be cheaper, but no such luck. boo! so my parents and i are going to call around more...buying a house is crazy! i'm learning all these things.
after that i called brandon to let him know i'm taking care of the whole insurance thing and he said that was cool, the only things we have left to do is insurance, get a survey and get title..and a closing time (which is just what it sounds like, what TIME on the day are we going to close...i can't believe he has that on his list of things to do, what a big nerd) ANYWAYS, i brought up the fact that i think it's ridiculous that title would take so long and he says yeah i know, and that if they WANTED to, they could have in done in 3, yes THREE, TRES, 3!! days!!!!!!! but since they have no motivation (yay government) it takes like 2+ weeks......that makes me SOOO mad, it REALLY could close on the 15th if they would do their job correctly! sucks..so say some prayers that they get their act together!
i'm ready for the weekend, this week went by really SLOW for me...i mean, all of sudden it was wednesday, but it feels like i haven't seen andy and he was HERE on tuesday night/weds morning...weird. so here is my august weekend schedule..i know you are all so interested
aug. 5-7th - waco
aug. 12-14th - san antonio (meet shasta?)
aug. 19-21st - ??? MOVE IN?! (please oh please)
aug. 26-28th - office "retreat" at this place called mo ranch by the river...neat.
anyways, i have a headache (again! damn allergies) and i want to go home...i went to sleep before 11 last night and i can't believe i slept through my alarm...i am so sad.
i am REALLY excited for this to come out, besides gavin degraw, i knew about josh kelley pre-famousness, so i'll try to be a big supporter still, from what i heard, this album is going to be great! yay! aug 23rd!
