hey hey well i took lots of medicine and i felt a lot better. my boss told me a story about how this guy who works here would introduce her to people as the "professional web surfer" and i think that describes my job pretty well, so i'm stealing that title and will for now be known as "professional web surfer" i think it suits me. anyways i left work early (which had no point b/c it took me awhile to get home) andy was there when i got there and he showed us his colorado pictures, and then we waited for bundy to come over. then we went to eat really quick at sonic, yum...lol.
after that we headed over to the backyard, the ONE place i live close to, geez. they're building a lot of new commercial stuff (ie. best buy, bed bath & beyond, etc) behind the backyard (boo to commercialism, you say? well, yeah, but if YOU lived 25 mins from everything, you'd be excited too...i think they could have picked a better location though). anyways, this helps with parking b/c it's free and it just opened, but no one knows how to direct traffic so i'm getting stuck in the parking lot, and being told it's full (well put a SIGN up idiots! and get off your cell phone while you're working!) i finally got into the flow of traffic and parked. it wasn't super far away either which was nice, and finally we were in! we admired the t-shirts, (apparently not enough to buy one) and then found a spot to stand at. we missed matt costa, but ALO was playing then and they're pretty chill just like jack so they were nice to listen to. and THEN, jack johnson came out!
He played for awhile and was AWESOME, of course, i'd only seen him play once at ACL and it wasn't for very long and I didn't know too much of his stuff, of course last night I realized that I know all of his songs, but none of the titles...oh well. i called shawna during mudfootball so she could hear it! she was happy. when he came out for his encore, him and matt costa played a beatles song which was cute (i think it was "two of us" i remember it from the i am sam soundtrack) and i kept telling bundy, play "better together"!!!! he better play it! and his LAST song was "better together", i was so happy! (dave matthews BETTER play "satellite" this time, i was really upset when he didn't last time i saw him)
anyways, all in all it was a great concert! i *heart* jack! after we got home, i ripped the jason mraz cd from andy and then we fell asleep on the couch, well *I* did, i was so dead tired. i feel like i haven't gotten caught up with sleep, boo. what an ugly feeling. anyways, i feel fine today.
i think after work bundy and i are going to get pedicures, we'll see.
