have you had your latin kiss today?

"who knows how long she can go before she burns away"--john mayer

hey hey
well here's my weekend update. friday was fine, i got home and kelli was supposed to come over later so we could hang out and go to dinner, good stuff like that. well, 30 minutes, ended up turning into 2 hours, so i started packing some of my shit into boxes. ok...that went ok, but i still have so much crap to take. anyways, to pass the time, i met amanda and allison down at mulligans, and was there for about 15 mins, then kel called to say she was at my house so i went back home, and then we went to grab a drink and eat dinner...at 11pm?? at bennigans. yum. came home, and then went to sleep.

i slept in on saturday which was nice and then it seemed like it took us forever to get ready. first we drove by my house so that she could see it, she got a call on the way that her mom and sisters were leaving back to houston since there wasn't any damage to their house, but kel really didn't want to go back, well that was good b/c i didn't want her to leave either. anyways, we ended up having to go pflugerville to get her mom set up with the trailer and then sent off back to houston. after that, we went to target and the mall and ate. i bought a bunch of stuff at Express b/c they were having an AMAZING sale, so fun! then we came home, and hung out, debated on the evening's activities, got ready and my mom, the awesome designated driver for us ;) drove us downtown...yes i'm 12. anyways, the night was fun, just seemed too short, i think because we started late. we started at iron cactus, just for a margarita, but this guy ended up buying us each other one, so then we had that, and i was getting brainfreezes and starting to feel really sick, so once they left, so did we, we were just like....blech. actually i don't think i'll be drinking a margarita for awhile. boo. then we "tipsily" walked down to lavaca street to meet shawna and sharla and i paid way too much for my drinks and we hung out there for awhile. it was fun, just really loud. we got kicked out like exactly at 2am or osmething and then hung out in fronto of the bar talking to these guys who had befriended us there and then shawna and sharla walked us to the corner, where kelli made friends with some canadian boy, and then my mom came and got us. lol. awesome.

"2 drinks for the ladies"

"hey slutty mcslut"

me:"i have a cold hand on my shoulder"
shawna:"i have a beer!" (which was apparently not said excitedly)

"kelli! stop kicking me!!!" (yes she was trying to get away from a boy)

"oh god, i even LOOK ugly!" (well that was sun. morning)

sunday i woke up with an awesome hangover, drank some water and then fell asleep again, finally we got ready to go around 230 for ACL and drove over to bundy's...i'm sure everyone in austin just LOVED ACL, but i beg to differ. i was miserable, it was sooo hot yesterday, like at least 105, if not hotter, so not only were we sweaty but there was dirt and dust EVERYWHERE...i kept saying, look at my tan...nope, that's just the 3 inches of dirt on me. sick. couldn't stop sneezing or coughing and there was dust in our food and drinks...yum. so we made an executive decision to leave early, yes it sucked that we missed coldplay, yes it sucked i left one of my favorite mexican blankets there, but it also sucked that we couldn't breathe. so us old ladies went back home. after showering all the great dirt that was caked on, kel and i went to rent a movie and get some sonic. yum. we rented a lot like love, which was your typical romantic comedy, you knew the ending before it happened, etc. but i absolutely loved the soundtrack, so that's awesome. then to sleep and now i'm at work. incredibly busy and feel as though i am so behind (prob. b/c i am) but the good news is that the BIG projects are done, now i have to fix all the small changes.

le sigh . it's monday. i'm ready for our first "cold front", tomorrow, it will only be 98!! woo hoo.
