sorry about the previous post, i was a little irritated, then i proceeded to clean my house and everything is sparkling. it's amazing what can happen with a better brand of cleaning stuff. neat. and my house smells like cleaning solution, but whatever. at least it doesn't smell like the nasty ass bean salad i had to pour down the garbage disposal.
so last night i went to my mom's company's grand opening for century 21 excel. they were worried b/c no one had RSVP-ed, i don't know how many people they invited but they sure did order enough food for an army. there weren't THAT many people there, but there were more than they thought, i think. my mom was looking so cute in her little black and silver outfit and my dad was there and bless his heart, i think he is losing some weight. i worry about him sometimes. please pray for his health, we never know what's wrong with him. so the party was fine, it was open bar and the bartender was great about filling my plastic dixie cup with more wine. my old tool of a boss told me if i waited until the end that he would let me take home the extra food and even alcohol. (um hi, party?) so i sucked it up, my mom kept telling me to play with his daughter, but i was wearing a skirt and heels, c'mon mom. so i waited...patiently. around 8:15, i was armed with 4 trays of sandwiches (drunk munchies?), 2 trays of pasta, nasty bean salad (boo), 5 bottles of wine, and 3 mini kegs of beer. yes. i lucked out. i almost got set up twice, what the hell is WRONG with people, do they not understand i LIKE being single? boo.
anyway, then we all know what happened when i got home, ie best buy and cleaning til my house was spotless. i think i went to sleep at 12.30. i added another pillow to my bed and now i really feel like i'm all cozy in my sleigh bed. yay! this morning i didn't want to wake up, and i almost didn't. oops! since i have a glass sliding door in my shower, i had to clean that while i was actually showering. it was interesting. i'm so bad with a squeegie, like the kind at the gas station? i suck. and i suck with the ones for glass shower doors too. oh well. that's what the shower curtain is for, i guess.
anyways, it's FRIDAY! i'm not sure why but my window looks like it rained outside...eh. so close to the weekend, i can taste it! so excited!
