so i had a really great weekend! i'm so excited it's almost summer, i feel like this is going to be a GREAT summer!
on friday, i was real tired, but shawna got a call from a friend who was coming into town and asked if i wanted to go out so i decided yes. i went shopping and then met her at her apt...and i'm pretty sure i didn't eat any dinner, so we got ready and pre-drank and then went out. we started at lucky lounge and then met her friend wes and his friend jared and they came back to lucky with us. they were both really fun, jared is my new gay best friend who looks like CHRIS DAUGHTRY's TWIN!!! out of ALL people! chris daughtry!!! i knew it was meant to be right then. heart! after that, they left and shawna and i went to end the night at lavaca, where i apparently made a new boyfriend, named roger. shawna sent me this picture she took of us. he lives in san antonio. of course he does. story of my life. anyways, he gave me his number, and i'm like...what do i do with this? i'm so not that girl.
i spent the night at shawna's then had to wake up early to go to my parents so my mom and i could go to SA. we of course left later than expected and went to patty's so i could binge on mexican food before the low-carb diet kicks in (today). then to pick up my cousin and then spent a lot of time with the familia for my cousin rudy's graduation party (college). after that we went back to my aunt julie's house and i passed out real early for a saturday. the next morning they let me sleep in but then told me i only had 20 mins to get ready...oh really? boo. so i took 40 mins.
we (my mom plus her sisters and some of my cousins) went to eat some seafood for mothers day. so good to be with the familia. heart! then we went to leave flowers for my grandma, then to the flea market, then took a quick pit stop at the white house/black market outlet so i could find a rehearsal dinner dress when i decided those are very fancy for an outside deck dinner, lol, so i'm going to find something a little more summer-y. fun.
so i stayed at my parents' house for awhile, then changed and got ready to meet some of my old high school buddies for dinner at trudy's. my best buddy scottie the hottie has had a girlfriend for about a year and she was in town, so we (paul, jon and i) finally got to meet her. she is really sweet and seems like a lot of fun, i wish she could stay longer, i think we could hit the patron bottle together! lol. his friend tim and his gf also met us down there. it was a fun dinner. then i went home and was bombarded with all these messages and calls of "DID YOU WATCH GREYS ANATOMY?! OMG!" ok...no i hadn't, so i settled in and OMG! i am SOO ready for the 2 hours tonight!!! love. that. show.
i feel like this week is going to be good. i had a really great phone conversation last night, one of my BEST friends from forever ago is moving back to austin today!! and it's gorgeous and i think i may get to be a lake rat this weekend! life is good. heart!
