"oh, my first mistake was, i wanted too much time"--en vogue
so at the risk of having girls hate me right now, i'm goign to write about my weekend, which isn't over yet, but i want to re-cap some of it right now.
so friday at work was fine, free lunch, meeting, got some stuff done, etc. chris and i were texting all day and of course i was bummed he wasn't coming, but i had accepted it...and so when i left work around 5 and saw a card addressed to "sy" (his nickname for me) i was sooo confused/ecstatic/etc. i put all my stuff in my car and read the card which was sweet and basically said he HAD come and surprised me from okc! and he was waiting for me in the parking lot, so when i turned around he was in the parking lot with roses. um, helloooooooo, who ARE you? loves. it. it was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me, and i of course, forgave him for anything that had happened in the past 3 days haha. i went to with him to his parents house and then met my parents, rose and thad at casa chapala for dinner. which was interesting in itself, i am so glad they are so busy!! after that, i came home, got ready and met chris, mo, ramzi, shaft and hope at ramzi's and then we went to some kids 21st birthday party...oh really? how old am i? yes, i had some weird kool-aid punch. haha, awesome. then we went to firehouse and came home.
on saturday, i went to run some errands, met my mom and rose to get our nails done, and then met the girls to get to the hotel! yay...well, first of all, our hotel room had one king size bed and a single pull out couch, awesome. our first room's carpet was soaking wet so we got a room change (same room, different floor) and hung out, got ready for dinner and then went over to ztejas. i love these girls, seriously. so fun. after a great dinner, we went back to the hotel to pre-drink and get ready and then headed out. we started at cuba libre (best mojitos ever), then went to lucky lounge where we met up with julie and her friend mike, and kelli's cousin rachel. then jeff from high school who i haven't seen in like literally YEARS showed up, so by then we had an entourage. also, shawna called me then and said she was outside so i went to talk to her for a little bit, then went back inside. lucky was getting old, so we moved on to Six where we met up with chris, mo and ramzi. the best part of the night was the fact that we heard all of the songs we wanted to hear and there was no real drama. "i don't fall, SHE CRIES!" (thanks l*bo). the bad news is my tolerance has gone waaaaay up and that is no good and means $$$, boo. Six wasn't very exciting i guess, so we ended our night at cuba libre, so cute. anyways, i was glad we had a good time. i'll post pictures later when i have them all.
today we slowly got ready, checked out, ate at olive garden and the girls went off to houston and i finally got my oil changed/maintenance, FINALLY! haha. and now i'm home, i think i'm going to stay with my parents tonight, i totally forgot i have tomorrow off, so great! and now i'm watching the baylor game, which we're actually winning, so yay! :) (i probably just jinxed us)
