so here is my weekend update. on friday, i had dinner with my parents at luby's and then i went home, showered and took a nap. when i woke up, i got ready and went over to meet shawna, sharla and colleen to go to a party. it was down south somewhere, and it was fun. they had a moonwalk (which i had no idea had a name like that, not to mention yesterday on the way home, someone had one in their backyard, awesome), good bartenders and baby oil wrestling? (which we conveniently left just in time for, no matter how many times they asked us to participate). then colleen, shawna and i went to whataburger and then i went home.
on saturday, i got ready, and went over to my parents house to enjoy the sun! :) i was out there for about an hour and then my aunt and her husband showed up to drop off this camper that my mom had bought, yes my mom likes camping. i don't, but it has AC and a shower, so if anyone is interested in camping, let me know (when it gets cooler of course). after that, we went to eat and then my mom and i went shopping. i'm on the hunt for a cute top for this weekend, and therefore am really missing any other good deals which may cross my path. so far, the hunt is a failure. i was really tired so i declined the invite to go downtown with shawna and colleen, and apparently it was a good thing b/c 2 mins out of the parking lot my mom called me to tell me her car alarm went off and it wouldn't stop, it. was. awesome. eventually we got it off but the car wouldn't start, so we just left it at the mall and i had to take her back to lakeway and then drive back to leander. boo. i started watching vertigo and did some laundry and ate some dinner, i was STARVING! i am very exciting, i know.
i slept in on sunday and drove over to barton creek to start shopping again, and left with nothing. awesome. then i met my mom and target and then i went over to my 'rents house to have dinner and then home. i watched the emmys and tried to organize some stuff, all i really got done was realizing the scrapbook i bought for new york is too small for my memoribilia, awesome. then i finished watching vertigo. i'm not gonna lie, it wasn't my favorite alfred hitchcock film. granted, it's filmed well, and all hitchcock-like, but i just didn't like the story line i guess. my favorite is still rear window. whatever.
so i'm really hoping chris gets to come down this weekend, he's supposed to look at test and project schedules, but i don't think he should have a problem, if he knows what's good for him ;) haha. j/k.
hey the sky is cloudy, maybe it'll rain (please, please, oh please!), not to mention my lawn looks like crap and i called the lawn boys to come mow it and they never showed and if they did i was gone, but i didn't leave my house til 1, no excuses.
so crazy, 2 years ago i was in new york...if i keep thinking like that, next thing you know i'll be saying 20 years ago i was in new york. whatever.
so i am excited for this week, which means it will go by slowly. shopping, working out, happy hour thurs, chris (fingers doubly crossed :)), and the motos and kel coming in for birthday celebrations and LABOR DAY! which means 3day weekend! yay!
