"it took awhile to understand the beauty of letting go"--dixie chicks

hey, so this is really late, oh well, i had a site melt-down and it had to be fixed asap. here's my weekend recap, on friday, i went home early, stopped by the mall, then went home to take a nap, i had no warning of what was going on so i opted not to take a shower before i went to meet my parents for dinner, apparently that was the wrong move b/c at 5.40 it was apparent that it would be stupid to go out to dinner and come back to leander and get ready, so i got ready, in 30 mins or less to go out in general. i RULE. i met my parents at applebee's (those of you who've seen talladega nights, i laughed b/c whiel we were waiting this lady next to me kept telling me how GOOD the food was...um ok). after dinner i went over to ramzi and hope's to get the gang together. i'm not sure if i can even list who went out with us, there were at least 15 of us. it was awesome.

of course there was plenty of drama (more on sat night though, whatever) we went to firehouse and aquarium and i ran into 2 girls that i used to babysit in saudi, the saudi people are EVERYWHERE! ahhh. anyways, after a mini drama, ramzi took me, chris and hope back to ramzi's and chris and i went home.

on saturday, i drove us over to mo's and waited for the guys to get ready, and all 13 (yes, 13) of us headed down FINALLY to new braunfels to go float the river. i can't believe i've lived here almost 10 years and never gone, boo. but it was so fun! next summer, holla! after that, we came back, ate at rudy's then i went home to change/shower/etc. i met up with ramzi, hope, chris, eddie and shaft at ramzi's and then we began our saturday night adventures, which included more drama, firehouse, ce and gary, one of those stupid bike rides and foundation. foundation sucks, i never want to go there again unless it's like 11pm. needless to say, i was so glad to get home to my bed on sat and sleep IN! i don't have any pics of sat night or the river yet, boo.

on sunday, i woke up, was lazy, cleaned my room, etc. chris came over before he left, i might have teared up and then cried a little when i closed the door. this sucks, it really does. but i can't help it, i really, really like him. to me it's worth it, so we shall see. after that, i went to return some jeans and then to see my parents for a little bit. then i just came home, and cleaned up, and watched some tv.

so some other things happened this weekend, scottie the hottie got engaged!! yay, i am so excited for him!! :) i like stacey too, so heart!

chris' bday was yesterday and today he started his first day of classes at OU (NO sooner jokes please, thanks) awww, heart.

i woke up kind of early today and traffic was still awful, and when i got to work, it was very obvious that we had no form of AC...i swear it clicked on but it's not any cooooooler! i had to take off my jacket even though i'm wearing a tank top, i do. not. care. it is so freakin' hot!! boooo...

so tonight i'm going to meet scottie, stacey and some others i'm sure for dinner at chuy's, they're on their way back to colorado tomorrow so it's like a farewell dinner. anyways, i'm effin' hot right now and i can't deal with it no more. boo.
