so last night i was at work til 7.30, australia had a mini crisis. it's ok though because i need to take my car in this week (they're not open on saturdays? boo.) and i just made up 2 extra hours so that worked out well actually. i went straight home, ate dinner, started on season 6: part 1 of SaTC, did some pilates, worked a tiny bit on my study/guest room/extra room (whatever it's going to be called now), talked to chris and went to sleep. he is for sure coming back on thurs (i probably already mentioned that, but oh well, deal with it). i am really excited to see him, this actually been as hard as i thought but i think it's b/c i know he's coming back (i've already said that too, sue me). after this it will be a lot harder and i admit, going from seeing him everyday to not seeing him everyday, IS different, but it's not like i've never been in a long distance relationship before, that's just how it goes. the difference in this is, that this time around i feel more independent. i'm making more of an effort to not forget who my friends are and if i need "me" time, i take it. (yes, i'm tooting my own horn, go away) plus he's really good about that and knowing i need that. yes, i like him. that's all.
so last night while on the phone with chris, i got a call waiting...it was kitch. really? do you know how many weeks/months i waited for him to call me, purely on his own, not with a leading text message or i call him and he called me right back type thing? i waited MONTHS. and now? he does it? and i don't care, isn't it funny how stuff like that works? no i did NOT click over. i did however, try to return his call, but he was already asleep. i guess we really are friends and that's how it should always have been (not that it wasn't, but you know what i mean).
so this morning, traffic sucked. boo. welcome back to school. it took me almost 45 mins to get to work, in fact, it might actually have. damn it. i have a call in like 3 mins so i'm trying to wrap this up.
i also have to take my car in (oil change+20k maintenance) which i may have already mentioned. (i am just pretty much repeating my entire life in this entry) well it really sucks b/c it's hard for me to take it in the morning and they prefer you to bring it in early so they can get it done. well it's hard for me to get someone to pick me up and take me to get my car. (reason #332 not to be in a long distance relationship, your boyfriend could help out if he lived in the same city). apparently they have shuttles, i'm trying to get my mom to help me out, but with her beautiful schedule 10pm - 6am, apparently she's SLEEPING right now ;) boo. anyways, i like this service guy a lot better than the one i talked to last week, so i'll keep my appt on thurs and just figure something out. whatever.
tonight i apparently don't have any plans b/c i was going to take my car in, but not anymore. i need to actually run some errands, so it's probably best. OH! christina aguilera's new cd came out today, i'll be at best buy, thanks.
