"am i only dreaming or is this burning, an eternal flame?"--the bangles

hey hey,
so yesterday at work, was awful, i was sooo tired, after 2 cups of coffee i was only semi-delirous but i managed to get through it. right before i left work, chris asked if i wanted to come over to his house. i was like sure...wishing that i had had more than 5 hours of sleep and had gone for style over comfort for the day and possibly had not run out of foundation. great, yes, i'll meet your parents like this, i'm really low maintenence, haha. anyways, it was really fun, i got there at like 6 and we didn't leave til 10.30. we had wine and cheese (wow, look how classy we are) and then his mom whipped up a quick, yet incredibly good dinner and then we just hung out and talked. i like his parents, they're really funny.

after dinner, we went to meet up with ramzi and hope at ramzi's apt. i was kind of tired, but hope was really tired, somehow chris convinced us all to go to this girl gretchen's apt to play scene it down in campus (west, east, south? i don't know the difference, i called it frat country b/c we were in the frat house district). it turns out that they had already managed to play the ENTIRE game and go through the scenes, whatever happened, they wouldn't play again, so basically hope and i struggled to stay away and not look miserable (not trying very hard) and we went back to ramzi's. i thought about inviting chris over, but good Lord it was already 1 and i was dying. so i figured i'll see him this weekend, and it'll be fine.

rose and thad might also come in from corpus this weekend, so it might be busier than i thought. sleep would be good, i guess i can sleep next weekend :) anwyays, today is happy hour with the austin gang and i invited julie :) and then i NEED makeup, but i don't know if i want to risk the mall, hopefully i can get in and out, there shouldn't be too many people at the makeup counters, since makeup isn't tax free. (btw, it's tax free weekend if you didn't know) and did you hear they opened the outlets in round rock yesterday AND ikea is supposed to open in fall '06?!!? that's like just a few months! yay! other than that, i have no idea what's going on this weekend, which is kind of nice, but anyways...have a good one.

peace.
