"sometimes i feel i've got to run away, i've got to get away"--soft cell
so here's my weekend re-cap. on friday, i did absolutely nothing. i'm in the middle of my re-watch of Sex and the City and i'm only on season 4, so most of my weekend was spent watching that in any free time i had.
on saturday, i cleaned my house up a little and then drove down south for the cavalette reunion, which was fine. only 3 people from my year showed up, so crazy, but good to see everyone and of course, as always, made me miss dancing. boo. after that, i met sharla, vincent, colleen, shawna, heidi, steph and jarrod at sharla's so we could trek it up back north (by me) to go to sharla and steph's company picnic. we stopped by my house to re-arrange cars and drop off lucy and then kept going. it was raining, which is not picnic weather, but was dry at the picnic site. it was fun, free drinks, free food, good company! thanks sharla. then we went back to my house to attempt to play scene it! but vincent didn't have the dvd, boo. and so we just watched several episodes of the office. they left around 10 or so. and then i felt really bored, like i should be doing something. i feel like i've been going out every weekend so saturday shouldn't have been any different. oh well, it was probably best to keep it calm.
yesterday, i got up fairly early and went over to my parents. my mom and i went to brunch at y bar and grill, sooo good! and bottomless mimosas for $4. perfect, then we got pedicures and went shopping for a bit. i wasn't really in the mood, but it was a good mom/daughter day. then just went back to their house, heard tiger woods won the british open (c'mon sergio, you're making me cry) and laid in the pool for awhile. my dad and i went to get some quick dinner at sonic, and i hung out there for awhile, then back home. chris called me from nyc around 10 or so i guess, so that's good and now he's in houston and should be back here later today. yay!
i finally get to start my Flash classes tonight and then we'll prob hang out later, i got to come into work late too...woooo...my life is uber exciting, let me tell ya
