"Smoke rings drifted through the midnight sky"--third eye blind
so yesterday after work i went to target to buy a few things, i ended up with dishwashing liquid, some toiletries and a rachael ray magazine, i'm so domestic.
i don't know why i was so tired yesterday :(, i took a shower and ended up sacrificing dinner so i could sleep before the movie. boo. well, before i fell asleep, my voicemail alert went off, that's weird b/c it didn't even ring...it turns out i have no service ANYWHERE in my house, at ALL right now. perfect. since i had no idea how to get to ramzi's to meet for the movie and all i knew was it started at 10:15, so i slept, then checked the phone again, no service. so i decided (since i knew he lived around mopac and parmer) i would just get ready and start driving and hope that i would get service soon. of course once i get to the end of my street, voila! service. boo sprint. so i called chris and he told me how to sort of get to ramzi's, then ramzi called me and told me how to get to his apt too, i still managed to get lost and i'm really good with directions, i blame it on the darkness and i couldn't see. whatever. so i finally get there, and me, chris, ramzi and hope go to the movie. ramzi and hope work at best buy so they got these free tickets for pirates and it was being shown in "dlp mode" whatever the hell that means. anyways, it was supposed to start at 10.15 and they gave away prizes and crap, so it was really like 10.55, yes i didn't get to bed til after 2. boo. so my thoughts about the movie, i had several, i love johnny depp, i thought there were too many characters and storylines. i didn't think the 1st one had an option to be a sequel, but apparently the 2nd is leading into a 3rd, the ending was lame. and i almost fell asleep. thank goodness it was free.
thismorning i decided since i had showered last night that an extra 30 mins wouldn't kill me, now i feel weird, i always shower in the mornings, boo. whatever, i got to work a little early and now i'm eating breakfast, yum. or something. it's payday today too! yay!
so i don't know if i told anyone but i wasn't sure if she was going to do it. my mom wanted to get back into nursing, so she interviewed with this big company on weds, and yesterday she found out she got the job! (that was quick!) she starts monday and she's soo happy! it's so cute! i think she feels a little more monetarily secure and she will still be doing real estate, so if you want a house, don't forget, she can still help you! :)
tonight...i'm going to baby a's to help celebrate paul's bday with some peeps and i'm not doing too much else, i think b/c chris is going to paris tomorrow he wants to hang out, but we shall see.
i've never been so tired in my life, this weekend should be interesting, maybe i can get some sleep.
