so here is my weekend recap
on friday, chris picked me up and we went to eat lunch at this little hole in the wall mexican restaurant, it was good and of course good QT :) after that, we went to the bank because not only was it payday (which i forgot) but i also got my bonus! yay! :) he dropped me back off, and i worked some and then my mom met me and brought me dinner, heart! and then i headed off to houston, i made extremely good time except i turned the wrong way on westheimer, boo. so it took me like an extra 30 mins :(. once i got to shea's, we watched reality bites and drank wine. i love that movie.
on saturday, we woke up early and l*bo came over and i went to lunch with my friend from work, alex at this vietnamese place, it was v. good. then i met up with l*bo and shea at the Gap and we shopped a little, then went back to shea's and watched some SaTC and napped. we started to get ready for the concert and l*bo's friend, mia came over so we all rode to the woodlands together. we stopped to eat at this little salad place and kelli met us there. after that, we headed over to the kelly clarkson concert! holla! yes, it was full of children and teenagers and moms and dads and obligated boyfriends, but it was ok, they sold alcohol. haha. kelly clarkson really proved that she is amazing, she has an AMAZING voice, even live, it was great. she played most of her recent album, a few new songs, one old song, and covered songs by marc broussard and ray lamontagne. sooo amazing. great show! rooney opened for her and they weren't too bad either. after that it took us an awful long time to get out of there so we just went home.
on sunday, i woke up early and got ready and then l*bo, shea and i went to eat lunch at jason's deli and i made the ever exciting trip to ikea, where i found a futon! so exciting!! :) it's for the study, so basically i have to move everything out of there and put together the futon and then put the room back together again. i have an idea how i want it too look so we'll see. get excited, now there are more places to sleep in mi casa! after that i drove home, and met up with my parents, my mom and i went to eat dinner at chili's and then shopped some. (does anyone know where i can find cheap, yet fun pillows (like throw pillows)? that's not target, i already looked there) then i just went home, showered, and got ready really fast before chris came over with his sister's boyfriend, tyler and then we all went to mozarts for a little bit. fun :)
anyways, it was a good weekend overall.
