i'm very easily satisfied, yesterday for lunch, all i wanted were chili's boneless buffalo wings, $6 and 5 mins later i was v. excited that you can call in anyplace "to go" and be fed. i don't like wings v. much at all, but i love the chili's ones...thanks a lot mom! (she got me hooked) we like to have bonding lunches at chili's where we order a salad, tea and the triple play (no chicken crispers, extra wings please). awww, mama sims, she's going to be my date to julie's sister's reception this weekend in houston. what a trooper and then she starts working her crazy ass shifts at her job on sunday night.
after work, i was so tired, like i could barely drive straight tired, boo. anyways, traffic was really bad and lately chris and i have been figuring out different ways to get to my house, and so i decided that last night was the day to try an alternate route, sure the speed limit is only 45mph on the side road, but there's NO ONE on it and i can guarantee i'm doing 45 or less when i'm actually on 183, so it just FELT faster. anyways, good to know. when i got home, i cleaned up a little and then laid on my bed and 2 hours later woke up to my mom's phone call, boo, it was already 8.30! so i ate dinner and watched so you think you can dance. i am really rooting for either travis or benji, i'll be happy whoever wins and the last dance? to sexyback? really? i LOVED IT! sooo good!
chris came over FINALLY, he'd been packing up a uhaul all day with his dad and doing budget stuff with his mom and finally came over a little before 10. we finally finished watching garden state and just hung out til he had to leave. i was sad, but not crying, like it's more of an at peace feeling, i feel like it's that way right now b/c he'll be back in a week so i know the next time i'll see him. it could be all over next weekend when he leaves for good. we kind of talked about how the next 4 months could fly by and then the whole paris thing will be entirely different but i can't really think about that right now. i think we need to get through the 4 months first, hmm, anyways. now you all know i absolutely adore him, but i'm not gonna lie, i am v. excited to be getting more sleep tonight than like 5 or 6 hours.
tonight i'm having dinner with allison, her bf and her mom, we're eating thai, which i am SOO excited about! and then i'll stop by the 'rents. tomorrow morning i have to wake up early and take my car in for an oil change and 20K maintainence and then i'm staying at the 'rents tomorrow night and my mom and i are gonna wake up semi-early to get to houston in time for some shopping and then the wedding. i don't really want to go to houston but i'm glad i get to go out of town this weekend.
