so yesterday was a good day, it kind of dragged by, boo. plus i kept thinking it was friday all day, like ALL DAY even though i knew it was thursday. when i was on my way out, my friend and i realized that it smelled like something was burning, like for real on fire. turns out someone on the 3rd floor had burned something in the microwave, but our floor was all set to pull the fire alarm. awesome. i just realized i grabbed my ipod charger and didn't bring it back, b/c i RULE! so now my ipod is dying. damn it.
chris was supposed to get in at 6, but he left even earlier and got here around 4.30. he asked me to come over after work, so i went over there and then, him, his sister, their parents and his sister's boyfriend's parents and i went to eat dinner at threadgill's (i waved to shawna and sharla lol). after that, we went back to his house and i went to mine, and he came over a little bit later and we just had some good QT.
today i have no idea what's going on, except that i'm leaving early b/c i worked overtime on monday (or tues?) and so i'm gonna leave around 3, yay! best friday ever! :) i might stop by the mall, because that's what i do and then go home and try to sneak in a quick nap.
so i don't know about everyone else, but i've heard of a plethora of people getting engaged lately, it's either that time of year (i thought that was more spring) or in the water, but it's like hey guys, CHILL OUT! whatever, it's just overwhelming, all these engagements and weddings, woooo.
so i bought the new christina aguilera cd the other day, it's ok. i mean, she definitely has pipes, but i like songs where i can quote lyrics that pertain to things and i don't really feel like these songs too, if they're not about her husband, there's one thanking her fans, or dissing her old producer, i mean, i dont' get it. anyways, it's not bad. plus it was $11.99 and there are 2 cds in it, so i didn't feel too ripped off.
has anyone been listening to the news, is anyone else like thanks for scaring me to ever fly overseas again? people are ridiculous, i hate the news, and i'm glad that terrorists are getting to people and making us fear them. that's all they ever wanted, i'm so glad we're giving them that satisfaction. i guess b/c i've been on planes my entire life, i can't imagine it being dangerous and i refuse to believe it can be. they're just screwing up our flying experiences, idiots.
