well yesterday was a GREAT day! i got up, got out of the shower and had a message from the lady i interviewed with and called her back to find out i got offered the job!! she sent me information i needed to know about benefits and stuff like that and gave me until thursday @ 12 noon to give her an answer...i told her fine, but obviously i didn't need that much time...so anyways, i get great benefits, 2 weeks vacay (but not until after 6 months, booo), and some sick days, etc. yay! a salary i asked for, a great boss, and i'll get my own office!! i'm so very excited that i have a job with a strong company. so i went to the mall to return stuff (no i didn't buy anything ;) ) and then to the bookstore to get some books on html, etc. i need to brush up on my skills...then came back home and i went to dinner with my 'rents to celebrate! then, i went over to shawna's, we watched the end of american idol and headed over to the rodeo for the Maroon 5 concert!
I've never been to the rodeo before (yes, i know, i'm a real texan now!) so it was quite a show...we didn't get there until about 9, b/c the lady told shawna that's when the concert would start, but we ended up watching barrel races and bull riding for awhile before anything happenend. i saw brook and sonia from high school there, which was fun, and scottie's in town so i'll probably see brook tonight when we go out for scott's birthday tonight. anyways...finally!! after watching them set up the stage, maroon 5 came on stage!! ok, i really liked adam levine and thought he was hot, but i really DO think he is now! he sings, plays guitars AND drums, that was hot to me...i'm like, wow you're very talented..(so, sorry boyfriend, you are still my #1 though!) anyways, they did great, i sang along to all of the songs, it was GREAT To know ALL of the songs that were played and know the words! (except for their new one they played which i liked anyways) and then they did a cover of "highway to hell" at the end and off they went...*sigh* ..i'm so glad i went! (thank you shawna!)
anyways, so far today i've called boyfriend to send him on his camping way (no phone calls for like 4 days!) and then went to get a massage (birthday and now job celebration!) and now i'm just here, probably doing some stuff for my mom, but that's cool!
