well i haven't written since yesterday which is fine b/c work is still good and all that. so i have a few things to write about. yesterday marked the 10 year anniversary of Selena's death, mosto f you know that i like her, and that the movie which j.lo starred in, is one of my favorites, i cry everytime i watch it (i saw it on the big screen in san anotnio with every other mexican and you'd think they'd have kleenex boxes at every seat, but no).,..ANYWAYS, i'musing oneof her songs as my quote. she was 23 when she was murdered, which is really sad, but THIS makes me think about it b/c right now i, myself am 23, and i think, damn i'm really young, i'm just basically starting out in my life. and SHE had like all these things going for her, she was beautiful, talented and had plenty of money. well, it's just sad. there was no reason for it, i'm sure if she was still alive she'd have like 4 kids or something by now. *sigh* shoutout to Selena. (but i'm not having a candlelight vigil, i'm not THAT mexican)
on another note, why is it, that a tall vanilla latte from starbucks will put me right to sleep, yet when i make a half cup of coffee with the coffeemaker at work, i am about to bounce off the walls. perhaps it's the "single serving pods" that make sure you get the right amount of caffeine inside you, or the 10,000 tablespoons of sugar i add to my cup...who knows? but it keeps me awake for the next 10 hours at least...i just don't want it to be a habit, something that keeps me awake, or that i NEED to drink to become awake...so i try to drink it in thea fternoon, so i don't NEED it to do anything, yet, drinking coffee at 2 or 3 in the afternoon, causes me to not be tired...dilemmas..*sigh*
and lastly, (or so far, lastly) i almost got in a wreck on the way to work today. i was on the on-ramp to get onto 183, and merging over, and the guy in the lane next to where i wanted to be, was ALSO merging over, TOWARDS ME!! he was in a saturn too...well an older one, i'm sure if we had hit, we would have just bounced off each other. anyywas, he sped up a little and pretty much cut m e off, i was so shocked, i forgot to press my horn..and my hand was RIGHT ON IT...hello *look of shock* and "WHAT THE F...K was THAT?!" and then i kept driving...anyways...people were driving funny todsay, i guess taht's what fridays to do you...today i'm going to waco after work, and b/c i am right here next to 35, i hope it will be quick, but i realize, hi, it's friday and i'm driving..on. 35...i'm sure it won't be lovely. anyways..lata
ps. it took me 2 hours to get to waco..remind me never to live in round rock...alsoi've had some "office space" moments at work, but good ones...i'll talk about them later.
