so yesterday i had a free lunch with the financial advisor thing at 360 primo, it was interesting, he really did leave us alone, but he IS calling now,...i have an appointment with him on the 19th, but i already have a negative view towards it and so i am thinking that next week i'll just cancel, i don't really NEED an advisor right now, not to mention i have my OWN free lunch coming up on wednesday. if you ladies want to come, it's weds @ 1230 at tgi.fridays here at the arboretum, just don't know if that's too far for y'all. anyways, whatever, it was good.
i went to try to get a new phone yesterday after work and basically they said that i CAN and will get a $150 mail in rebate as well as selling back my phone for $25 towards a NEW phone, if i renew my contract, i was like SUCK, i don't WANT to do that, i want to move to cingular when this contract is up, and that's in january or something. so i could either pay $229 for the new phone and not extend the contract or pay $150 cancellation fee and then pay for all the start up costs at cingular OR just keep my old phone..boo!
then i went home, ate dinner, started cleaning my room, and loving the thunderstorm b/c it finally started to rain mad crazy last night! yay! allison and i went to the gym and ran into josh white, wheeee, then went to subway and she used her employee discount and we got sandwiches, yum! dropped her off, then came home and started cleaning, i started to get tired of cleaning so i started to just throw things into empty corners and nicely lay my clothes on my shelves as opposed to hanging them up...oh well.
this morning i woke up early b/c it was my day for breakfast, so i went to einstein's bros. bagels and got 2 dozen bagels, everyone was really happy b/c they felt like bagels, love bagels, etc. i was glad, but i got an asiago cheese one for myself and ended up burning it in the toaster! boo! oh well it was fine...i did some work and now i'm working on my job development thing for work b/c i am talking about that with my boss today as well as having my 3 month review, yesterday my boss said that we were going to lunch b/c it's "best to do these things away from work...you know, if you start crying or something" and i was like "or if i throw a fit" she's like, "Right, it's in public"...i was like hmmm, she didn't really scare me or anything, i know that i haven't met all of my 3 month goals (ok i had to take 2 seminars that i haven't taken) but i think i am ok besides that...but i thought, hmm, i bet that's why sometimes people take work people to eat if they fire them so they can't make a big scene...interesting...anyways, we are going somewhere on 45th, i've never been, don't remember the name, but she picked it or at least mentioned it and i figured she IS with child and i don't really care where we eat. so i'll let you know how that goes.
i am a little bummed b/c friday all the new foreclosures come out and there aren't really any good ones, only one and it is sort of far, but i suppose worth seeing for the price...hmmm, what else?
so today boyfriend is coming! i am trying to plan a nice, quiet, fun date for us. we're starting off at gumbo's for dinner, it is SOOO good! and then to play some putt putt, then trying to think of a quiet place where we can just have a drink or something and chill out. also brigid and her boyfriend should be here around midnight and that will be fun to see her!
