sorry for the lack of update...i know everyone is just chewing their nails in anticipation over what i did this weekend...well stop. ;) haha.
anyways, friday was an alright day, i got home, packed and then we loaded up the car with all of our junk for the garage sale, and then andy and i were squished in the back of the 4 runner, woo hoo. lol. we got to san antonio and stopped for some mexican food! yum! then to my cousin's house (who never came home, awesome). watched some tv, and then went to sleep.
saturday, we woke up early to set up for the garage sale and put up signs...we should have put it in the paper, b/c we didn't get a lot of interest, i think b/w the 3 of us (my mom, andy and i), we made about $30. awesome. and i'm sure that andy and i spent our $20 within the next 24 hours, but whatever. after that, we got ready and then my mom dropped andy and i off at the mall (yes i felt like i was 15 again) we walked around and ate some lunch and then went to see four brothers.
i was intrigued by the previews and it had peaked my interest, plus the great raid wasn't playing there. anyways, this movie wasn't amazing...but it was REALLY good. the plot was great, (whoever wrote it, good job!), the actors surprised me. sure it was kind of a shoot-em-up/gang related movie or whatever, but still, i was impressed and very happy with our movie choice. yay! after that, my mom came and got us and we went to the magic time machine for andy's belated birthday dinner (like 2 months later). my aunt liz, julie and cousin lisa showed up...it was an interesting dinner to say the least. after that, we just came home and relaxed and watched the end of starsky and hutch. then i went to bed, i was very tired.
sunday, we woke up, got ready and then went to look at stuff for my house, i know exactly what i want in my room, i just can't find it. i think i mentioned i settled on colors. my room/bathroom will be deep reds/golds/creams, and the guest side will be modern-y, with dark blues, greens and creams, the living and kitchen will both be greens (and some yellow or cream to offset it...to make it "flow") anyways, i almost bought a shower curtain, but nothing is just jumping out at me, and i think i'm scared that what i pick out won't look good...i act like some really important interior designer is going to come in my house and point out all my decorating faux pas...my mom said, no, but stacy will (my sister). true that. whatever.
so, yesterday our internet was down all day at work, it was horrible and the only thing i can work on that's not on the internet since i am an "INTERNET marketing assistant" is reformatting technical papers, so that's what i did, but i got frustrated a lot. boo. totally random, yesterday, i got a call from allstate insurance to get a homeowners quote (well i have already gone with farmers, in fact i just emailed him to let him know it is ok to bind it! wow!) but here's the random part, the girl who called me was a girl i went to school with in saudi...hi, random? yes, i think so. so that was interesting.
anyways, then i came home, went to allison's to hang out with her before she leaves for nursing school weds morning, then came home, and did nothing. i went to sleep at 945, because i had a horrible headache. but this morning i felt GREAT. (obviously i slept for like 9 hours) anyways, andy IMed me and his loan stuff hasn't gone through and baylor sucks with stuff like that, so he's mad and in a bad mood, so that's no fun...boo, it was only like 930! :(
after work today my mom and i are going to this jewelry party that my co-worker is having. i've never been to one, but it should be fun, except the jewelry is kind of pricey, but maybe i'll find something i just CAN'T live without. hah! that's what i need to be buying right now,...jewelry. whatever.
