so yesterday i met shawna at the roaring fork to give some support to clay and have a drink...their food was really expensive and we had crab cakes...2 for $9.50? whaat? whatever. it was good to see clay, he gave us free movie tickets. shawna and i have a date for aug 24 (don't forget shawna!) and his promotion assistants called us his groupies, i didn't appreciate that, b/c i am SO not a groupie, i actually KNOW him and we're actually friends, i don't think friends can be considered groupies, so peace out promo assts, geez. and also, we weren't even HANGING around him, we said hi, had a drink, and said bye. geez. ANYWAYS, after that i was really craving some chips & queso, so we hurried down to the iron cactus to get some $2.95 queso, yum! yay for happy hour prices. on the way there AND back some stupid idiot kept calling out to us to tell us his friend was single, we were like..ok..? whatever. we tried to get people to take our pictures, but they weren't coming out good. here are the pictures that shawna sent me though.

anyways after that i went to target b/c i had to pick up a few things, including a bunch of lotion i just didn't need or a magazine, but whatever, then i just came home, and cleaned out more of my room, i have plenty of stuff for this garage sale this weekend, which is awesome...throughout my cleaning out of jewelry i found this really cool ring, i think someone gave it to me b/c they found it on the ground...AWESOME, but it's SOO vintage...haha, andy will remember that from this weekend. anyways, it's gold and has a ruby in it with 2 diamonds..it just happens to go with my outfit today.
anyways, my boss just told me she has to go to a funeral tomorrow...sad :(, it's for her husband's friend, he was only like 32 and just had a heart attack, that's crazy. and a crazy week for her too.
i wish it were lunch time, i have shrimp and rice yum! and my mom bought clementine oranges yesterday, they are the BEST! love 'em.
today i'm getting the last 2 boxes cleaned out of my closet and packing for SA, i talked to my cousin to tell her we were coming and she's really excited (ok, no she's not, but whatever, she doesn't need to be hanging out with her loser boyfriend that's for sure)
house update: getting homeowner's insurance, transferring auto insurance, waiting 7 (business) days, and then choosing a closing date, which brandon has put as aug 31, but he's sure we can get done before that. well DUH, if i get the insurance today, it could be sometime after the 19th! sweet!!
