well yesterday was again, another crazy day at work. of course, how coudl it not be? i worked a little through lunch then went to jcpenneys to buy some towels for the guest room...here is the shower curtain i have for it. (it's the "fun" side of the house)
ok so the idea was to do navy blue and green...but it's not the green that i have throughout my house..it looks more like a lime green...what ended up happening was that i got a really cool blue bath mat that is just a neutral blue and navy and lime green towels...then i got home and just thought, wow...this is REALLY lime green...like lime green! anyways, last night after i fell asleep incredibly hard, i thought, why do i even NEED lime green, and the navy isn't the right blue. so, i'm returning them all (except the bath mat) and going to focus on just blue, just a royal or whatever that blue is in the curtain and a lighter one...no green. lime green really throws off my color scheme.
so something i thought was really funny was that yesterday my boss set up this work IM thing so we could IM each other if we needed, and now I can also get in contact with all of our offices worldwide, which is pretty cool, not that i need to talk to those people but if i DID, i could! anyways, she's like i would be more likely to IM you, than use the intercom, i was like OH! i'll IM you. so perfect, this is why my boss is cool!
anyways, my mom made a great dinner, and then my dad and i went to home depot so i could find a trash can, but i didn't find one i liked (i know, right? how could this be difficult?) and then i got some extra keys made. i really wanted to go to target, but we didn't and then i came back and tried to pack my small stuff in newspaper and in my last box, that went ok i think...really i just have to clean off my desk and throw my clothes in my car on fri night and i'm good to go. FINALLY moving!! (why do i say this like it wasn't my decision? i could have been there last weekend just with no hot water) anyways, maybe my work friend and i will go look at the doglets today during lunch, or maybe i just will. i love them! i want to see if the one from the last time is still around. le sigh.
i really didn't want to get up this morning, we got our "cold" front and it's windy and great and i love it and the only thing that i'm having a problem is that my FEET hurt, like i can't wear any shoes that are comfortable. i think i have a blister on the bottom of my feet, and bottom line is i need new shoes. like i can do THAT right now...whatever.
