hey hey,
well yesterday was a fun day i guess. i went to the bank (again), i'm not complaining. what with the whole 401K change thing and the insurance reimbursements, i feel like i'm getting bonuses, left and right. i fixed my 401K b/c i don't really need to be super serious about it now, and i'm getting almost $150 more a month b/c of it! sooo helpful! i'm still setting up for retirement, but let's get real, i have the next 40 years to be doing that. whatever. after the bank i went to look at the doglets at the humane society. i found 3 dogs i am very interested in, i can't find any pictures on the web of them, but the first one i found was called madison. it said she is a chihuahua, but if she is, she is half something else b/c she's a tad bigger than a chihuahua and looks like a miniature lab to me...she was too cute! hopefully she'll be there next weekend, i would love to have her! anyways, we'll see, if it's meant to be, she'll be there. there was also 2 others, but they are a little older, so we'll see.
after work i went to my parents house b/c rose & thad were coming in from corpus and my mom was making a GREAT dinner. yum! so we ate, then thad tested me on the piano, i haven't played in so long, but it felt great, then he showed me up. he's pretty good. dang it! after that, we went to my house and i got lost (oh yes, b/c 183 is closed at night so i had to take an alternate route), then stopped at HEB for them to get coffee and we hung out a little bit, being silly and went to sleep. this morning, they were up with the sun like me and i was a little late (not really) but felt like i would be, and they really like my house! i'm so excited, they're my first overnight guests! so now they are over there, studying like crazy for their tests this weekend and i'm at work. boo. ...well i could be studying i guess. lol.
whatever, thad's bday is this weekend and we're going to see esther's follies tonight, awesome. i love it! so anyways, this should be a weekend of eating well, and doing fun things.
and dang, organic cereal really does nothing for filling me up at breakfast time. dang. looks like bean & cheese taco c tacos for me today ;)
