geez, i was such a flake yesterday...boo! i finished up my work around 545, then left. i had to stop by kohls, and returned some shower hooks and a pillow, then i drove home...it was about 7ish and i changed and started thinking about dinner, then i got online and realized i was supposed to call shawna about going to the concert last night...whoops! (don't hate me) i was totally off yesterday, what the hell is wrong with me? i have no problem remembering birthdays or phone numbers, but short term memory? good luck. whatever. i'm sorry y'all.
so yesterday i realized why my boss and i get along so well..becuase in the middle of the day she sends me links to dogs. haha, i love it! as we all know i am dead set on getting a dog...i'm not sure what i want, a lab would be the biggest kind i would get, and i don't really want a small dog, but my boss talks about her chihuahuas all day long and how great of guard dogs they are, ie. they bark a lot...anyways, i am really torn about this whole dog thing. a larger dog makes me feel like "protected", but smaller dogs are easier to transport, ie. i could just take it with me if i went travelling, etc. it's a toss up, here are 2 smaller dogs i have my eye on.
cute, huh? yeah. the top one is 3 years old and the bottom is about 4 months. they both wouldn't be ready for adoption for awhile, which is perfect...so we'll see.
anyways! this morning i was awakened by some beeping...yes, that is the beeping of my smoke alarms with no battery life...crap. apparenlty my dad once again replaced them with the same batteries...except this time, it was the one outside my room! boo. so i tried to go back to sleep. i only had 2 batteries and 4 alarms, so 2 are still beeping at me. the first one i changed wouldn't stop BEEPING! it was sooo annoying, but i finally figured it out. i'm really excited that i get to sleep in, well not today, but i can wake up at like 720 instead of 7, which is nice. it is soooo COLD TODAY! i am not dressed for it, yesterday i was, but today i'm wearing flip flops and a thin shirt..boo. anyways, i am FREEZING. not cool.
tonight i'm about 98% going to go out with shawna and peeps for pre-birthday celebration, (that 2% is for error like...the only thing that would keep me from going out tonight is a migraine basically, so let's not hope for that) anyways, tomorrow morning i'm going to leave for SA and hang out with my cousin who finally called me back and eat lots of mexican food, yum! and then more partying sat night, hangover recovery, and back here.
thank goodness it's friday..AND payday!!! woo hoo.
