"isn't it amazing how the song remains the same?"--josh kelley
hey hey,
first off, i have nothing exciting to say about my day yesterday except that i went shopping after work and spent about $100 (oops!) i just don't really have any warm clothes, or warm clothes that are work appropriate. if i wanted to wear long sleeve tees and look unbelievably unprofessional, sure, but i'll just save those for fridays. i bought 2 sweaters and 2 camis at Express, both very cute and winter-y layer-like. of course, the cashier didn't take off a sensor. i hate that, i now realize how annoying it is. once when i first starting cashier-ing there, this girl who looked like britney spears plopped her huge pile of clothes on the counter and i went into shock. even more shock when the $400+ total came up and she gave me her credit card with no problem. apparently i was SOO shocked that i forgot to take ALL OF HER SENSORS off! BIG Oops! the guy manager there (ok, if you're not gay why are you working here?) got really pissed off and angrily took them all off. sorry it was like my 3rd day cashiering. what i'm saying is, if the sensors are on the clothes, and i walk out the door and it doesn't go off, what good is it? the point of the sensor is to keep people from stealing. so when i get all the way home and put my clothes out on my bed to admire my purchases and feel a big ugly plastic thing, i get a little peeved. not really at the cashier but at the little beeping sensor thing. obviously, this just proves people CAN steal. maybe it was faulty? or a placebo? (is that right?) anyways, work on the sensors people!
ok besides that, tonight i am meeting little miss bundy and because she has finally announced it, so i can i! she is ENGAGED!!!! sooooooooo exciting!!! we are meeting tonight to have dinner and talk about a few things, then i'll go to see my 'rents for a bit and get my xmas tree because it's CHRISTMAS! yay! read about bundy's story here.
ok and one last thing, if you read my comments from the nov. 28 entry, you will see that a mr. kidd kraddick, yes THE kidd kraddick came to MY blog and left me a comment!! this is so exciting!! kidd, if you are still reading this, thank you so much, i feel honored. anyway, i just wanted to say, thank you for saying this morning you are making an announcement monday. i was under the impression the contest was for a new co-host and it's not and therefore i understand the drawn out segments. i'm sad that someone is leaving (and yes brad, they are one of the best shows) i actually understand what you mean, when you say people will be like "but where did _______ go" the jb & sandy show did EXACTLY that, the person just left and there was no explanation for it and people got pissed and stopped listening. both you and the other show i listen to here (bobby bones) did the opposite and were honest about it and the listeners really appreciate it. ok, so just so we get it out there, i do not think your job isn't cool, i would LOVE it! really. i love radio, (i interned for 2 summers) but it IS fickle and it IS hard, so i didn't pursue it. (btw, i love all music, yes even the jammin' tunes)
ok i'm done, this isn't supposed to be a "dear kidd kraddick" segment, just in case he wanted to read my blog again, that's for him.
by the way, i watched the real world: austin reunion last night. it has been decided. they were the worst. cast. ever. but that reunion was the best. reunion. ever. !!! and mel and danny engaged? whatever.
peace out.
