hey hey,
last night my friend and i made dinner together, she made baked chicken stuff, and i made a salad, then we watched beauty and the geek. that's such a great show. yeah, that's pretty much all i did, except for almost getting blown over while walking to my mailbox? what's with the high winds, texas? let it go.
so i checked out the weather report and this weekend, weatherwise is not only supposed to be cold, but cold and RAINY, esp sunday (shawna, move as quickly as possible!) boo.
i suppose it isn't weird then, that on my way to work today, all i could think of was long weekends, involving lots of sun...my mind skipped to late april, may, june, the summer months. is it just me, or do you get a different feeling in your bones when it's summer? it's like all summer i smell chlorine, sunscreen and the beach. well, i find myself just WAITING for that time, when i can kick back, play at my parents' pool on the weekends, smell like tanning oil, eat sandwiches (ok i eat at thundercloud a lot during the summer), run around in my bikini and tank top all day. i. love. those. days. and now that my cousins live at the beach, i will have to take a trip down there too! it's decided, whoever thought i could live in a cold weather state was crazy: texas or cali. i need to be tan.
i am really excited that kanye west's next single is "touch they sky" apparently, we'll see. that's my favorite song on the album, so yay!
tonight, i think dancing was veto-ed and i think we may stay in austin and go to jenni's sister's party, we'll see how that goes. anyways, it's friday and already 10, so only about 7 more hours to go!!
