yesterday at work was very busy! but so good b/c the day went by quickly, next thing you know it's 5.45 and i'm going to meet my mom for dinner at cheddar's. i let her talk about my uncle and all that stuff, and we had some lighter conversation as well, i know she is sad, but i am trying to help her understand he is in a better place now and we did our best and treated him well while he was alive and that's what matters. le sigh.
after that, i called bundy to check on her stress level, shawna to check on her relaxation level (on the beaches of hawaii!!!) i tried to call l*bo and sheavon, thanks for answering fools ;) i watched some tv, played on the computer, thought about paying bills..eh. money is such a strange thing right at this moment, in 3 weeks, i owe leander ISD and the county a LOT of money...dang houses, that's the only problem with being a homeowner. all that money could be used for plenty of other things, like a trip to europe, maybe? maybe even TWO trips? suck. so i am trying to be really good, yesterday i only spent $4 on both breakfast/lunch and my mom paid for dinner. i had to turn down happy hour this week with colleen and prob dinner with bundy, and i brought my lunch today. but the light at the end of the tunnel is that friday is payday! love it!
so last night, i talked to kel and we were gossiping about all our old saudi friends. it's crazy that we all shared this experience, very lucky, but still crazy. then as i started to drift off, i was awakened and almost scared to death of the ringtone that was the batman theme, otherwise known as kitch's ringtone. so we chatted for a bit, probably too long b/c i am very sleepy or was this morning. oh well.
boo, as fast as my days go by timewise, it sure feels like a thursday...but it's not. so the weather is gorgeous, i can't wait til summer which is next week;) to start getting my uber-brown tone back ;)
